Chapter 17 - Ch 17: Warrior with live sword fight and unexpected revelation

As Hina approached Teacher Nino, she couldn't help but feel a sense of determination coursing through her veins. Despite the teacher's reputation for being stubborn and hardcore, she was determined to prove herself worthy of entering the swordfight warrior field.

"Teacher Nino," Hina greeted respectfully, bowing before him. "I want to enter your swordfight warrior field."

Nino's laughter filled the air, echoing loudly as he looked down at Hina. "Hahaha, you, a twig, entering a swordfight? You could break your back or your legs with how small and vulnerable you are," he scoffed, his tone filled with skepticism.

Hina couldn't help but marvel at the teacher's stubbornness, finding it even more pronounced than Magus's. Despite his dismissive attitude, she remained undeterred, her determination unwavering.

However, just as she was about to respond, the system issued a warning, reminding her of the critical state of her magical abilities. With her magic depleted and her defenses weakened, engaging in further combat posed a significant risk to her safety.

Hesitating for a moment, Hina weighed her options carefully. Despite the dangers, her resolve remained steadfast. With a determined expression, she pressed the "yes" button, accepting the risk and choosing to continue.

As she began to perform hand pushes in the air, Nino couldn't help but mock her efforts. "Hey, kid, are you affected by the heat or something? You look stupid doing that," he jeered, his laughter ringing out uncontrollably.

Despite Nino's taunts, Hina remained focused, her mind clear and determined. "Stupid now, we get stupid and stubborn. What's next?" she thought to herself, a defiant spark igniting within her as she prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As they returned to the open field, Nino's words hung in the air, a foreboding reminder of the seriousness of the upcoming battle. With a grim smile, he announced the rules, or rather, the lack thereof – a fight to the death, with all advantages, including magic, fair game.

Hina felt a pang of unease as she realized the extent of her depleted energy reserves. It was a fraction of what she had possessed when she first reincarnated into this world. Despite her diminishing strength, she steeled herself for the impending confrontation.

The enemy charged first, wielding flames in his sword as he closed in on Hina. With each step, her movements felt sluggish, a stark contrast to the agility she had displayed during her taekwondo training. She focused on defense, deploying a barrier to deflect the incoming attack. However, her barrier was feeble, barely holding up against the onslaught as it ground against the force of the enemy's strike.

Nino's laughter echoed in the background, mocking her struggles. Despite the odds stacked against her, Hina refused to back down. She gritted her teeth, enduring the onslaught as she searched for an opening.

Finally, the barrier shattered under the relentless assault, and Hina found herself reeling from a blow to her stomach. The force sent her twirling upward before crashing back down to the ground. Despite the pain, she refused to yield, determination burning in her eyes.

As she rose to her feet, staggering slightly, Hina wiped the sweat from her brow, her resolve unshaken. "No, I still have tricks up my sleeve," she declared defiantly, her voice ringing out across the field.

Summoning the last of her magical energy, Hina unleashed a burst of magic, creating a dazzling display in the sky above. Temporary wings sprouted from her back as she soared into the air, her movements fueled by sheer determination.

With a battle cry, she charged at her opponent, a rippling distortion in the air trailing behind her. However, her exertion took its toll, and as quickly as it began, her magical power was depleted once again.

Collapsing to the ground, Hina lay unconscious on the training ground, her breaths shallow and labored. As the rain began to fall, a somber mood settled over the field. The teachers, realizing the gravity of the situation, offered prayers to Celestia, seeking forgiveness for their unwitting offense against her daughter.

In the midst of the downpour, they vowed to ensure Hina's safety and well-being, realizing the importance of protecting one touched by the divine.

As the rain poured down in torrents, Hiku, Magus, and Nino gathered in somber silence, their voices hushed as they spoke of the events that had transpired on the training ground. The air was heavy with regret, each word weighed down by the burden of their guilt.

"We never knew..." Hiku's voice trailed off, his gaze distant as he struggled to come to terms with the gravity of the situation. "To think that she is the daughter of Celestia herself... We should have been more cautious."

Magus nodded solemnly, his usually stern expression softened by a pang of remorse. "Indeed. We were blinded by our own arrogance, our pride clouding our judgment. We never stopped to consider the consequences of our actions."

Nino, ever the stubborn one, remained silent for a moment before finally speaking up. "I can't believe we let this happen," he muttered, his voice tinged with bitterness. "To think that we could have harmed the daughter of a god... It's unforgivable."

The three teachers stood in silence for a moment, their thoughts heavy with regret and sorrow. They had failed in their duty to protect their students, and now they were left to grapple with the consequences of their actions.

"We must do everything in our power to make amends," Hiku declared, his voice resolute. "We owe it to her and to Celestia herself to ensure that she receives the care and support she needs."

Magus and Nino nodded in agreement, their expressions determined as they vowed to make things right. "We will do whatever it takes," Magus vowed, his tone firm. "Even if it means facing the wrath of the gods themselves."

With a newfound sense of purpose, the three teachers set about making arrangements for Hina's care. They spared no expense in ensuring that she was comfortable and well taken care of, their guilt driving them to do everything in their power to atone for their mistakes.

Meanwhile, Hina lay in her bed, her body battered and bruised from the ordeal she had endured. Despite the pain, she remained stoic, her mind consumed with thoughts of what had transpired. She had never imagined that she would find herself caught up in such a tumultuous turn of events, and yet here she was, the daughter of a god, fighting for her life in a battle she had never asked for.

As she drifted in and out of consciousness, Hina couldn't help but wonder what the future held in store for her. Would she ever be able to return to the life she had known before, or was she destined to forever be caught up in the machinations of fate?

Only time would tell, but one thing was certain: Hina's journey was far from over, and the road ahead would be fraught with danger and uncertainty. But with the support of her newfound allies and the strength of her own indomitable spirit, she was determined to face whatever challenges lay ahead with courage and determination.
