"Good now, get out of the car," Shane said as his grip on the steering tightened as he stared at Sophie with sharp eyes.
"Wait, what?" Sophie said as her voice became small.
"Get out! I have somewhere here to be now," Shane repeated with a snarl in his tone.
"But it's cold outside. Look, the weather is changing; it might rain soon, and I don't know anybody here. How am I going to find my way back? What if I get lost?" Sophie ranted out in one breath as Shane's lip curled up in a snarl.
"That's your punishment for disobeying my orders. Now get down before I throw you out myself," Shane said.
"Fine," she hissed through clenched teeth as she came down from the car, wrapping herself with the leather coat she carried with her as she watched Shane's car drive ahead till she could not see it.
