"How did you get in?" Shane snarled in anger as he swept Sophie back into his arms, holding her tightly in a possessive grip, while glaring at him.
"You need a change of security. It felt like a walk through the park," Dian said, smiling up at Shane with a toothy grin, while Shane continued to glare at him.
"Little one, it seems this man lacks respect for how to treat his guests. You should leave him; I'll take care of you better than he ever can," Dian said, shaking his head sadly. Shane's hands trembled in anger as he moved to hit him, but James stepped in.
"Young madam, how are you feeling?" James asked nervously, glancing at his young master, whose clenched his fist tightly.
"As perfect as I can be," Sophie replied with a smile, making James blush. Shane's head snapped toward him, and he immediately gulped and went to sit in the corner.
"What happened to Olivia?" Sophie asked, the question she'd been meaning to ask.
