"Is this all the villages? Are there none left that we haven't already marked?" Kaelan's heavy voice resounded in the hall as he stared at the group of bandits surrounding him.
"There is none left," an older-looking bandit said. He pointed in all directions and briefly explained the villages in each direction.
Hearing the report, Kaelan got a headache. "Then tell me, where can we strike and return in two weeks?" his hand rubbed his forehead.
"The best option would be to go north and visit the villages north of the woods. We can try to plunder the fishing villages that are built on the banks of the lake and the Carleon River," the older bandit advised.
"Let's go north!" Silas jumped in and added. "North?" Kaelan mumbled thoughtfully. He knew exactly why Silas was asking to go north, even without the icy coldness his eyes were giving off.
