Chapter One Hundred-Two:
Del Gazini's Residence
"I'm glad and thankful too, Duke Haimon."
"Anyway, I'll leave my wife with you because I need to go to work now."
"Don't worry I'll take care of her."
"Thank you." He said before he kisses me and left then I quickly take Wei for a sit and asked her right away.
"How is my father?"
"He is fine. There's nothing to worry about."
"But does he know you will stay here?"
"Yes, he knew."
"Then, did he not tell me anything?" I curiously asked.
"I'm so sorry my Princess but he didn't tell anything."
I felt sad because of what Wei answered me but I immediately forgot about it and rather I choose to keep positive since that I knew my father so well.
"Anyway," I take a deep breath first before I continue. "Now that you are here, why don't I tour you around after we settled your things to your room? Oh, yes! I will guide you to your room, let's go."
"Alright, my Princess." Wei answered a little bit giggling when I suddenly felt so excited.
Medea's House
"Lady Medea, what is the development of Kanik's search for 'The Joker'?" I quickly asked as soon as I enter her house after Iman announced my coming.
"Sorry Prince Kieran but I couldn't find 'The Joker' elsewhere as if he never ever existed."
"So sudden…" I said almost to myself. "Where is Kanik now? I could hardly see him in the whole mansion. Don't you say he's looking for another way so he can see 'The Joker'?"
"Yes, he is my Prince. Though I don't know if he can find something that will help him to find 'The Joker'," she answered.
"What do you mean?"
"Whoever caused the disappearance of 'The Joker' I'm sure it would be hard for anyone to find him. That even the elder Witches and Warlocks could not do anything to find him," she seriously stated.
Reinhardt's Residence
"What are you thinking my Prince?"
Iman asked and we were at the garden where I choose to went after talking to Medea and I am thinking of why so sudden this 'The Joker' gone missing. It was as if something strange was going on that I could not explain.
"I badly wanted to meet this 'The Joker' that my brother talking about." I said what is on my mind.
"But just as Lady Medea said, he can no longer be found as if he never existed."
"Indeed, you were right."
"But then, you still wanted to meet 'The Joker'?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Why you ask?" I walk through this red flower. "The truth, there is something strange about this 'The Joker' that caught my attention. Making me want to meet him personally and another one, I wonder why he shown himself to Kanik? What does he need from my brother? That questions me more and I personally want to meet him."
"But how, if no one from the elder Witches and Warlocks can find 'The Joker'? Then how can we find him?"
"I think I will ask Elder Brennan maybe he can find some way to find 'The Joker'." I decided.
…
"Where are you going my dear brother?" I quickly asked Kieran as soon as I saw him leaving the mansion.
"Kanik, I finally got to see you." He said instead of answering my question.
"What?"
"I almost haven't seen you since the explosion. You seem to have become too busy with your own investigation."
"Because I badly wanted to meet 'The Joker' that is why."
"Then, why are you still not giving me good results?"
Is he insulting me? "That is because--"
"No!" he cuts me off. "You don't need to answer because I already knew why."
"What?"
"Lady Medea already told me."
I harshly sighed. "Now what?!" I irritably asked him. "Maybe Lady Medea also told you that 'The Joker' suddenly disappeared without a trace as if he never existed, right?"
"Yes, indeed. She told me." he answered. "And none of the Witches and Warlocks can help us to find where 'The Joker' is. For whoever is responsible for his sudden disappearance, it is more powerful than all of us."
"Alright. You were right but maybe, an artifact can help."
"It may but the problem with it is that it will take long before we can get the right artifact for that." He justified and he is right it was the same thing what Wafi told me and we can't really just rely on that.
"So, what should we do?"
"Come with me."
"To where?"
"To find another way to find 'The Joker'."
"How?"
"We will ask Elder Brennan because I know he knows of another way for us to be able to call that creature." He spoke. "So, are you coming with me?"
"Yes of course!" I did not hesitate and immediately agreed with what he said. It was really good and I decided to go back to the mansion first otherwise I might not have reached my brother and won't be able be with his plan. Because the truth, I totally forget about our Clan Leaders and I even ask for more Witches and Warlocks that could possibly help me but as what I've experienced with Medea, they all said the same thing.
From a far distance…
"So, what are you still doing here?"
"Just looking." He simply answered while still looking at the front of his mansion.
She takes a deep breath before she answered. "You know what, why don't you just go and meet your father instead of staying here?"
"Maybe he still has a grudge against me so, I rather choose not to go and simply stay here."
"Creep like a coward."
"Sai…"
"Alright! I didn't mean to be rude but he stills your father and you are still his son. That won't change. Whether his angry or not, you should at least visit him even if he doesn't give you any attention at least somehow, he knows that his son is still alive."
