Ye Anqi exchanged a pile of game tokens, playing the claw machine with a disregard for cost.
Surrounded by a group of kids, she handed out a dozen coins to each, letting them all play together.
Laughter filled the air around the claw machines.
"Sister caught another one—" a little girl exclaimed excitedly.
Ye Anqi handed the stuffed toy she had won to her.
"Sister, I want one too."
"I want one too," the other kids cried out in a rush.
Ye Anqi laughed and said, "Don't rush, take turns."
However, her skills were really poor; it was already good if she could win once out of ten tries, but she had plenty of money, so the number of attempts wasn't a problem.
"I refuse to believe I can't catch one!"
Ye Anqi continued with gritted teeth, repeatedly failing yet persisting.
"Wow, that brother is so skilled," one of the kids marveled.
When Ye Anqi looked over, she noticed a boy with a cute baby face under a baseball cap standing in front of a nearby claw machine.
