After looking around, the black Mosang was parked in a rather inconspicuous corner. Wen Meimei walked over, opened the rear door, and got into the back seat.
Huo Ju started to steer, glancing over the young girl's round face in the rearview mirror, "What do you like to eat?"
Wen Meimei politely replied, "I'm not picky, you choose."
Huo Ju nodded, and the car slowly drove out of the parking lot.
The drive was silent, neither of them spoke, and this kind of silence felt somewhat awkward.
After about fifteen minutes, the car stopped outside a small hotpot restaurant.
Wen Meimei was taken aback, not expecting Huo Ju to take her to such a bustling place to eat. This type of small hotpot restaurant was very down-to-earth, not somewhere she thought a man of his stature would frequent.
But she was quite satisfied eating in such a place, as crowded places tended to be safer.
Huo Ju unbuckled his seatbelt and asked, "Got a mask?"
