Screams spilled out of Jin Manman's room as she clutched the blanket, retreating to the edge of the bed with a look of terror on her face.
The commotion startled the birds on the windowsill and also woke the man who was soundly asleep.
The blanket, now all pulled away by Jin Manman, revealed the man's body, and he raised his hand to rub his bleary eyes, "What's wrong, baby?"
As he spoke, he gave her a greasy smile and reached out to grab Jin Manman's hand.
Jin Manman grabbed a pillow and hurled it hard at him, "Who are you?"
She ignored the most important question at the moment, which wasn't who he was, but why was he in her bed?
How could this be?
Jin Manman tapped her own head, "Wake up, wake up..."
When tapping proved futile, she began to pull at her hair, breaking off a handful and feeling genuine pain on her scalp.
But this "dream" was still a reality!
Baby, what's wrong with you? How come after a sleep, you seem like a different person?"
