As he approached, a faint scent of alcohol assaulted her face.
Mi Shen frowned slightly, "Shen Yi said you were sick."
Jin Rumo paused for a moment, raising a hand to his forehead, "I just drank too much, that's all."
"It's good that you're okay," said Mi Shen, extending a plastic bag to him, "I passed by the supermarket and bought some fruit."
Jin Rumo didn't take it, his dark gaze fell on her delicate little face, illuminated by the street lamp, her figure looked frail, eliciting an involuntary sense of pity.
A surge of emotion welled up in Jin Rumo's heart, and suddenly he stretched out his hand, grasping Mi Shen's.
Mi Shen startled, then tried to withdraw her hand, only to have it held tightly by him.
"Mi Shen," Jin Rumo began, his voice deep and tinged with a hint of dejection, strands of hair in disarray on his forehead, his entire demeanour exuding a sombre air, he pursed his lips, "Could you stay with me for a while?"
