The private room fell into an eerie silence, so quiet it was almost sinister.
It took Qin Youbei a long time to come back to her senses, and she looked at Gu Xiao with a blank expression, suddenly starting to hiccup again, "Hic!"
Blinking her eyes, she hiccuped with each blink, "Hic!"

Seeing her hiccups becoming so severe, Gu Xiao poured a cup of water for her from the table. Qin Youbei took it, gulped a mouthful, but a hiccup pushed the water back up, almost splashing her own clothes.
