Gu Xiao looked up at Qin Youbei's astonished face, the corner of her eye slightly raised, "Did you tell me?"
Qin Youbei shook her head, "I did not keep it a secret, but I told Uncle Wang, so now I'll tell you."
Gu Xiao didn't even think about it before she directly refused, "No way."
"But I've already agreed. As an elder, I can't go back on my word in front of the kids, becoming a bad example," Qin Youbei said with her cat-like eyes, pitiful and misty, looking ever so touchingly pitiful.
Gu Xiao's slender and fair fingers fiddled with a black chess piece, slowly closing her eyelids.
After a moment of silence, she put down the chess piece, "An exchange of equivalent labor results in mutual benefit, understand?"
Qin Youbei glanced at the chessboard, and Gu Xiao had played a black piece that yet again broke through the game and led the white pieces into a desperate situation.
She looked at him, "Okay, no problem."
