A shrill, dreadful scream echoed through the villa.
Lou Yan threw the glass in her hand far onto the ground and jumped around frightened, fiddling with her clothes, as a black object slid out from inside. Her soul shaken, she instinctively bent down to see what it was.
Behind her was a large potted plant.
The motion of bending over made her butt hit the potted plant, causing her body to pitch forward, and Lou Yan ended up sprawled on the ground.
"Bang!"
Lou Yan fell so hard that she saw stars, feeling a sharp pain in her nose.
When she touched it with her hand, she felt a warm liquid. She was bleeding from her nose.
