On the other side, several kidnappers were driving madly down the road, knowing they had to shake off their pursuers by a wide margin if they wanted to survive!
However, what they didn't realize was that the path they were taking was a one-way road to death from which there was no return.
The road was too open, and even though it was in the suburbs, the utter silence without a hint of sound made the kidnappers uneasy.
Beep... Beep... Beep...
A sound started to beep intermittently, made even more evident by the deathly quiet atmosphere.
"Did you... did you guys hear anything?" one of the kidnappers said with a voice full of unease.
The leader, who was driving, also heard the sound. His eyes suddenly widened in astonishment, "It's... it's a bomb!"
How could such a thing be in their car!
He slammed the brakes hard and reached to push the car door open, but the door wouldn't budge.
