Xia Wanwan ascended the stairs and immediately heard Yao Qin's somewhat annoyed voice.

Yao Qin simply disconnected the call and turned around, only to see Xia Wanwan, standing by the stairwell with a meaningful smile.

"I kindly came to call you for lunch, so how did that turn into scaring people?" Xia Wanwan mimicked the way Xi Muchen usually behaved, raising her eyebrows as she spoke, "What guilty conscience makes you so easily startled?"
