The butler's words elicited a snort of derision from Xi Muchen, who pulled Xia Wanwan to his side and said, "Let's go."
"Young Master," the butler said with some difficulty, looking at Xi Muchen, "The old master ordered that the Young Madam must finish making breakfast today."
"Must finish?" Xi Muchen sneered back at him, "What? Has my wife become the servant of the Xi Family?"
Pressured by Xi Muchen's imposing manner, the butler wiped the cold sweat from his brow and said, "Young Master, that's not what I meant."
Xi Muchen's voice grew even colder, "If that's not what you mean, then get lost."
Xia Wanwan looked at the man's angry demeanor and tugged at him gently, saying, "Don't be like this. It's just learning to make breakfast. I can do it. You go ahead first."
