The day on Yunhua Star is different from Earth's, totaling thirty-two hours with long days and short nights, where daytime alone accounts for over twenty hours. The journey thereafter encountered no more foolish "Taotie" that actively sought out trouble. As time wasn't delayed, the group sequentially visited several outposts that day. However, they merely dropped by to comfort the soldiers within, spending no more than ten minutes at each before departing.
Since city construction hadn't started yet, the subsequent outposts were quite small and manned by few guards. Each outpost consisted of merely two squads, about a dozen people, who regularly rotated shifts.
"Gentlemen, our next stop, the eighth outpost, will be where we'll stay tonight. The place is on top of a mountain, so whether you're looking for a sunrise or sunset, it's an excellent choice," Zhou Tai said with a smile to Shitou and Lu Yun as they left the seventh outpost.
Shitou nodded indifferently.
