Gu Kai had pinned her down with his legs on top of hers, and his hands were on her shoulders to prevent her from struggling.
Shen Ruo suddenly came to her senses. She knew that the more she struggled, the less he would let her go. So she stopped struggling and stared at him with an unprecedented coldness in her eyes.
"Are you going to coerce me again? Is there anything else you know how to do besides forcing me?"
Her stare made Gu Kai feel a bit guilty and much calmer.
"I don't want to force you either. It's you who keeps resisting me."
"Ha, as if it's all my fault," Shen Ruo sneered with a sad look in her eyes, "Gu Kai, this side of you will only make me never want to forgive you."
Indeed, her words had struck Gu Kai. He looked at her, not speaking for a long time. After a silence, he released her arms and legs and sat on the edge of the bed with his head down, speaking indifferently, "Fine, I won't touch you tonight, but I'm going to sleep here."
