Chen Zhi opened the lid, and a fragrance that carried the sweet essence of red dates immediately wafted out.

Chu Yan took the bowl, drank the soup in one go, leaving not a drop, then he asked for another bowl and downed it as well before handing the bowl back to Chen Zhi.
"It's very tasty. I seem to have quite the privileges as a sick person, even getting you to cook personally. I might as well just lie in bed forever and let you make me delicious meals every day."
He said this jokingly on purpose, covertly observing Chen Zhi's reaction.
