A pang of dread rippled through Celia's limbs. Was she really going to have to do that, without even one night of reprieve? "Tomorrow, then. I'm truly exhausted right now."

"No." He jutted his fat chin out and gestured towards their bed. "There's no rest from the business of making an heir. I'm not taking no as an answer, nor do I have to."

"Tobin-"

"Open your legs and shut your mouth. I'm not interested in your opinion on the matter."

Celia felt tears of anger and sheer impotence started to build but she blinked them back. 

She wouldn't give the hateful boy the satisfaction of seeing them fall. She made her face icily impassive as she tugged off her robe, refusing to meet Tobin's hot, smug gaze.
