Tobin glanced wildly at the cavalcade of knights that stood a little behind him, then opened his mouth.
Celia immediately knew what he was thinking and cut him off before he could say a word. "No, absolutely not. You're not doing that." She reached out and grasped his arm.
He roughly shook off her touch without looking at her. Gesturing to the lead knight, he barked out, "Separate the men from the rest, then bind their hands. They're under royal arrest. Any who struggle or try to escape, do away with them. Any woman or child who causes trouble, you may as well kill them too."
The knights looked at each other, but not one stepped forward.
"What are you all standing around waiting for? I've given you an order!"
"None of them are going to follow your orders, Tobin. So instead of insisting on something that isn't going to happen, let's just be on our way." Celia said coldly. "We have no business here."
