"I'm going to need your help, Lucas." Celia said simply. "Can I rely on you for help?"
"Yes, yes. Of course you can." he said. "You shouldn't even have to ask. But I can tell you've already planned something. What the hell is it?"
"What makes you think I'm planning anything at all?"
Lucas merely gave her a hard stare. "Don't play coy with me. I know you too well, and I recognise that stubborn look you get when you decide to defy someone."
Celia wasn't exactly thrilled by how he described her.
"Besides, what kind of woman is going to just stand by passively when someone decides to take her child from her? Especially not a woman like you."
"So if you understand that I'm in the right and I have to fight Tobin, why are you looking at me like I'm about to burst into flames?" she challenged.
