"I suppose it is." Celia said weakly. She didn't really know what to think. There was so much mystery around what happened in a woman's body when she was with child. Not even most learned physicians or healers knew everything for sure.
What if the wrong decision had been made? Would she ever forgive herself?
"Did the physicians say how long I'd need to wait until I know everything is alright?"
"Not really. All we can do it wait for the days and weeks to pass by, hopefully without any further bad luck." The helplessness on Lucas's face told her there would be no such certainty. "But I gave my word to all those here last night. If anything…goes wrong, the blame is mine to bear."
