Synopsis
By the way I should probably say this, but English is not my first language so I'm still learning the grammar there will be time that I will just edit them because the grammar is bad, and a friend is helping me with it. I love stories and I was able to make friends happy with them. I want to do this or try to at least make someone happy reading the story that I come up with hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy making this story. (By the way there may be times that I use comment to change a bit of the story)

Chapter 1 - Beginning of The Life

In the void of infinite darkness, two lights emerged, one glowing with a serene blue aura, the other with a deep crimson red. Slowly, the lights took form, shaping into Giant humanoid figures. Their presence was powerful and each movement they made brimmed with cosmic energy. Between them, they extended their hands, and as their palms met, the void began to transform

Light poured from their touch, spilling outward in waves that birthed entire galaxies. Stars flared into existence, worlds formed in the blink of an eye, and amidst it all, one small blue planet came into view Earth.

The two figures looked above it, their gazes fixed on the tiny sphere with life in it. The blue figure radiated a calm curiosity, observing humanity's creations and struggles with quiet fascination. The crimson figure, however, seemed restless.

With a fast motion, the crimson figure reached down, its hand engulfing the Earth for a bit. Across the planet, strange rifts tore open, glowing like scars in reality. From these gates, came creatures from it, monstrous beings of destruction,

The blue figure recoiled, its aura flaring in alarm.

Without hesitation, the blue figure extended its own hand. From its touch, a shimmering veil descended upon Earth, and ordinary people awoke to powers/abilities forged from the blue light. As they gain the power to fight the monster and defend themselves.

As the chaos and resilience unfolded below, the two figures watched in silence. Slowly, their forms fade back into the void. Yet their creation remained, left to navigate the fragile balance of destruction and salvation.

The scene unfolds on top of the rooftop of a grand school building. Two students stand there, The evening sun begins to shine bright, and the breeze is very gentle. The hum of distant activity below feels muted as if the rooftop exists in a world of its own

Unknown voice questioning:

"Is the life of a person who is powerful more valuable than the life of someone who is weak, or do they have the same value, a question that many try to answer but no one can come to a conclusion what do you think Azazel?"

Silence.

Unknown voice: the voice says, sharper now. "Azazel!"

He snaps out of his thoughts, blinking.

Azazel: "Huh? What's up?"

Unknown voice: The figure sighs, looking at him with a concerned expression. "Were you even listening?"

Just as a familiar voice jolts him back.

Azazel: "Oh, of course, I was–"

He is caught seeing the figure to be his friend Amanki when he thought that it is someone else

Standing in front of him, Amanaki frowns, arms crossed, as Azazel groggily lifts his head from the school bench. "Hey, Azazel, are you even awake?"

Azazel: "Oh right"

Amanaki: his arms still crossed he says "What do you mean oh right, dude you really should stop staying up late, you barely know what I was talking about"

Azazel: scratching his head nervously "Sorry I was just thinking about something"

Amanaki: saying with a smile looking at Azazel "Ok then whatever you say dude but anyway like I was saying before you fell asleep, we got to meet with Griselda she is probably waiting for us by now, she was talking about how she wanted to do something with us and school is done so yeah"

Azazel: "Oh ok right then let's not keep her waiting then, she can be a bit much when we make her wait "

The two head off the school roof, descending the stairs when a loud noise interrupts them. They exchange a look and quickly move towards the sound, peering around the corner. They see Jeremiah, a large half-beastman, pinning a smaller elf student against the wall.

---

Jeremiah Known as the school's biggest bully, he's a 6'0" half-beast-man with a muscular build, green eyes, and shaggy green hair. He's notorious for picking on the weak and wears the school uniform with a red undead emblem, marking his rank in the 'Life of Power' group.

**Power: "Hunger Fist"**

Jeremiah's ability lets him temporarily drain strength from others with a single punch.

---

Pinned to the wall is Fin, a small, nervous elf. He's about 5'2", with a thin frame, blonde hair, and yellow eyes, bearing the school emblem in yellow with the symbol of a goblin, representing the 'Life of Mystery.'

**Power: "Flash"**

Fin can emit a brief, blinding light, making his opponent unable to see for a few seconds.

---

Jeremiah: He glares at Fin, holding him up by his collar. "So, are you going to tell me why I failed that project?"

Fin: His hands tremble as he stammers, "I-I'm sorry! I was working on someone else's homework, and I… I must've mixed things up. It won't happen again, I swear!"

Jeremiah's expression darkens. "sorry won't cut it, after all, I FUCKING FAILED THE DAMN THING BECAUSE OF YOUR SORRY ASS."

Watching from the stairwell, Azazel clenches his fists. "We need to help him."

Amanaki grabs Azazel's arm, whispering urgently, "Wait! Jeremiah's way too strong for us. It's not our problem."

Azazel shakes Amanaki's hand off, determination hardening his voice. "We can't just stand by. He could really kill him!"

Azazel moves fast to the location

Amanaki: "Wait… damn it"

Getting closer he calls out

Azazel: "Hey! Get your hands off him!"

Jeremiah releases Fin and turns, scowling at Azazel. "Oh if it isn't little Azazel what do you think you're doing here, trying to play the hero or something?"

Azazel steps closer. "No. Just someone who's about to kick your ass."

Jeremiah grins menacingly. "You'll regret saying that, punk."

Just as Jeremiah prepares to charge, a voice echoes down the hallway.

???: A cold and commanding voice speaks up. "What's going on here?"

Jeremiah freezes, looking over to see one of the Captains of the 'Life of Power,' Wilmer. His expression shifts from anger to anxiety.

Wilmer: "Jeremiah what are you doing here dealing with these people"

Jeremiah: "Well I-I was just teaching them a lesson to not mass with us you know"

Wilmer: Wilmer gives him a hard look. "your wasting time with this. You know, you would be stronger if you didn't focus on dealing with weaklings and if this keeps happening you may become weak yourself and we wouldn't want that now would we?"

Jeremiah: "N-No sir I will be going to find someone of my level right now you don't need to worry sir"

As Jeremiah dashes off, leaving Fin trembling against the wall.

Azazel turns, surprised, as the figure of Wilmer shifts. And changes form, revealing none other than Amanaki, his friend...

---

*Amanaki: Standing at 6'6" with short, straight white hair, blue eyes, and a gentle face, he's known as the school's "gentle giant." Despite his intimidating height and strong physique, his demeanor is calm and compassionate. As an Aquadn, he has an impressive physical build for what he is but is even better known for his power, 'Morph.'

*Power: "Morph

Amanaki's ability lets him temporarily transform into any person he's seen, whether in person, through photos, or even drawings.

---

Azazel sighs in relief, patting Amanaki on the shoulder. "Thanks, man. You saved me there."

Amanaki scowls, arms crossed. "You need to be more careful. That trick won't work on everyone, and if someone figures out it's not really Wilmer, we're toast."

Azazel: Azazel grins, nudging Amanaki "Yeah, but we still helped, didn't we?"

They hear a quiet voice behind them.

Fin: "Uh, hey,"

Fin says, nervously clutching his bag. "Thank you… both of you. I'm Fin, by the way."

Azazel waves it off. "No problem. I'm Azazel, and this big guy is Amanaki."

Fin's eyes widen. "Wait, Azazel and Amanaki"

Azazel with a grin he looks at Fin

Azazel: "Yep us two seems like you heard of us huh"

Fin a bit shocked "Well just a little."

Amanaki: "Right you should probably go now after all it seems like you really wanted to go somewhere"

Fin: "Oh right that is true, thank you both again for the help"

As Fin says that he runs off through the hallway

Amanaki: looking a bit impatient "Well that was really something but we should be going. Griselda doesn't like to be kept waiting and already wasted a lot of time"

Azazel: "Right, let's go."

They headed toward the nearby open-air mall, where they planned to meet Griselda. As they walk, a deep rumbling sound shakes the ground.

—————————————————————

Amanaki: "Wh- what the hell was that?"

Azazel: "I don't know! Why is everything shaking?"

Amanaki: *pointing toward the center of the mall* "The noise is coming from that direction."

Azazel: "Come on, let's check it out."

They both sprint toward the source of the loud rumble, only to find a crowd of people running in the opposite direction.

Amanaki: "What are they running from?"

Azazel: "I don't know maybe the shaking and loud noise would be a good reason?"

Amanaki: "Not the time dude let's just go and see what is causing it"

The mall was in chaos. as people fled in panic, and Azazel and Amanaki pushed forward, weaving through the terrified crowd with determined expressions.

Amanaki: "This way! We need to"

A roar cut through the noises, freezing them in their tracks. Above, the lights flickered as a massive, fish-like creature descended from the shattered ceiling. Its body was grotesque and otherworldly, its slimy, scaled skin shimmering with an eerie bioluminescence. Its open mouth had rough and sharp teeth, and its eyes glowed a sickly yellow.

The creature lunged at them.

Amanaki: "AZAZEL, LOOK OUT!"

Azazel barely had time to react. His eyes widened in panic as the creature's razor-sharp jaws came dangerously close. He stumbled backward, raising his arms in a futile attempt to shield himself.

Azazel: "Ahhh—!"

Just as the creature was about to strike, a thunderous impact reverberated through the mall. The beast was suddenly wrenched backward as if an invisible force had yanked it away. It goes through the air, crashing through several walls before finally erupting into a lot of fragments. Shards of its body scattered across the floor.

Azazel and Amanaki were left momentarily stunned, their ears ringing from the explosion. Dust and debris rained down around them, as they saw the site of destruction. Azazel coughed, waving away the dust as he struggled to catch his breath.

Amanaki: "What the hell just?"

A familiar voice cut through the haze, calm yet laced with exasperation.

Griselda: "Every time I find you two, you're in some kind of trouble."

Azazel and Amanaki turned toward where the voice came from. And from the dust was someone. Griselda walked toward them, looking like she did that with no effort, she had long purple hair. With violet eyes that sparkled with both amusement and annoyance and they with it a hint of a power that demanded respect. The violet scales along her body only added to her charm. Her school uniform was great despite the chaos, the emblem of a purple dragon on her chest marking her as a member of Life of Limits. The uniform she a bit of her athletic build, and she walks with confidence and seems like someone accustomed to being in power. Griselda isn't just a popular girl at school; she is a legend. Her strength, beauty, and charisma had earned her a group of fans.

She stopped a few feet away, putting her hands on her hips as she looked at the scene. She smiles.

Griselda: "Honestly, you two attract trouble like moths to a flame. Were you planning to actually fight that thing, or just stand there and scream?"

Azazel scratched the back of his head, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment.

Azazel: "We... uh, we had it under control."

Griselda raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed.

Griselda: "Really? Because it looked like you were about to become lunch." She tilted her head, her gaze softening slightly. "At least you're not hurt."

Amanaki folded his arms, smirking despite himself.

Amanaki: "We were just testing it. You know, seeing how tough it was before we got serious."

Griselda rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a chuckle.

Griselda: " Sure you were. Next time, leave the heroics to someone who can actually handle it." Her tone was teasing, but there was an edge of genuine concern.

As the three of them stood amidst the wreckage, the distant sounds of sirens grew louder. Griselda turned her gaze toward the source of the noise, her expression hardening.

Griselda: "We'd better move. Authorities won't be happy to see students in the middle of this mess."

Azazel nodded.

Azazel: "Right. Let's go."

Griselda stepped ahead, her presence radiating a quiet authority. Azazel and Amanaki followed.

Unbeknownst to them, a shadowy figure watched from the upper levels, its glowing eyes fixed on the trio. A sinister grin spread across its face as it disappeared into the darkness.

As they go Amanaki asks with a confused look

Amanaki: "So, Griselda! What are you doing over there?"

Griselda: "I was going to ask you the same thing. I said to meet at the south end of the mall, not the center."

Azazel: "We... got a bit sidetracked."

Griselda: smirking she says "Clearly. You're lucky that thing wasn't too strong, or you'd both be dead by now."

Amanaki: "Yeah, thanks to you, we're in one piece."

Azazel: "Seriously, thank you."

Griselda: "Don't mention it. Anyway, can we finally go to the arcade? I've been dying to check it out—it's my first time."

Amanaki: "Seriously, that is what you wanted us to come here for"

Griselda "Well I've never been into one and you guys were saying how much fun it is so I thought to get you guys to come with me, now come on let's walk there"

Azazel stood up, catching his breath from the running they just had to do "Yeah, just... give me a sec."

Even far they can still see the destruction made by the monster and Griselda

Azazel glances over at the remains of the creature, still processing the power Griselda just displayed.

*Azazel (thinking): "She's so strong... and she just needs to hit one attack at it. What I'd give to have that kind of strength."

They begin to make their way toward the arcade, falling into conversation as they walk.

Amanaki: "So, still as strong as ever, I see."

Griselda: "I guess. But that monster was weak—even my familiar could've taken it down."

Amanaki: " Yeah I wouldn't be surprised but speaking of familiars, Azazel, how's that egg of yours holding up?"

Azazel sighed "Still the same. Nothing's changed with it."

Amanaki: "Man, I'm still curious about it. Even the teachers say they've never seen anything like it. I mean, an egg as a familiar? Usually, a spirit chooses you when you're born, but an egg?"

Azazel: "I don't know, but it's not like I can do much about it."

Amanaki: "Have you tried hatching it?"

Azazel shook his head "Yeah, but no luck."

Griselda: "Well, at least you tried. No point overthinking it."

Amanaki: "Easy for you to say. You've got a dragon as a familiar and you're a Dragonoid. How is that fair?"

Griselda: "Guess I'm just lucky. But don't complain too much—you're an Aquadn, and a light fairy isn't exactly a weak familiar."

Amanaki: "That's all I have, though. I don't even have that great of a power, and I'm not one of the leaders of the 10 Lifes."

Griselda: "I didn't ask to be a leader. I earned it. I beat the previous leader fair and square."

Amanaki: "Can't argue with that."

Azazel: "We're here."

Lost in conversation, they hadn't realized they'd arrived at the arcade, only to find it closed.

Griselda fell to her knees in frustration "Noooo! I've been waiting so long for this!"

Amanaki: "What? How are they closed already? I was so ready to beat you, Griselda!"

Griselda grinning "In your dreams! There's no way you'd beat me, but I guess today's not the day."

As they stand there lamenting, an elderly man in his sixties peeks out from behind the arcade door.

Old Man *whispering* "Hey, you kids need to leave. There was a monster attack nearby—you're not safe here."

Amanaki: "Oh, that monster's been taken care of."

Old Man's eyes wide "You're serious? It's already dead?"

Amanaki nods, putting an arm around Griselda* "Yep. My friend here was the one who took it down."

Old Man: "She took down that giant monster? That thing was enormous! Wait... are you kids from Phoenix Academy?"

Azazel: "Yes, sir. We just came over, hoping to play some games."

The old man smiling, opens the door "Well, in that case, come on in. It'd be an honor to have students from Phoenix in my arcade."

Griselda: "Really? Awesome! Get ready to lose, Amanaki!"

Amanaki grinning "Not if I beat you first!"

As the trio heads inside, Azazel can't resist teasing.

Azazel: "So... you're going to beat yourself?"

Amanaki: *blushing* "Wait, no! That's not what I meant!"

Griselda and Azazel share a look, chuckling as they walk into the arcade, leaving Amanaki flustered behind them.

Amanaki followed after them "Come on, guys! You know what I meant!"

Meanwhile, from atop a distant building, the dark figure was watching the group intently. One moment it's there, and in the next, it vanishes into the shadows.

Some additional information

Familiars are creatures that have been found out to choose a person when they are born before it was very rare to see someone with one but nowadays it's very common with people with powers and kids at Phoenix Academy, The familiars can be almost any type of creatures but the person can not choose who they're familiar,

Azazel has an Egg a familiar you will understand more later why he has that

As Azazel and Amanaki are two of the weakest people at school which I will be diving into more details in later chapters

So Griselda, Amanaki, and Azazel are all childhood friends that I plan on going more into later

(Griselda is the leader of the Life of Limits, which is part of the 10 Lifes. The Ten Life are groups around the school, new people who come to the school can join, they are there to show why someone wants to be a gatekeeper)

The Life of Limits fights for freedom they do what they want because they feel like it, right I guess but it is also one of the life that is just there if a new people don't know which Group they want to be a part of, Life of Limits is also the weakest out of all the other Lifes they are also represented as the color Purple

The Life of Power fights for the power they want to gain more power that is what they want so if it makes them strong they are going to do that thing, a lot of people are part of this group and they are represented by the color Red

The Life of Mystery fights for what the name says mystery they want to find secrets of the gates so they want to solve it a lot of the smarter people in school choose this Life and they are also represented by the color Yellow

Amanaki and Azazel do have symbols on their clothing but for Azazel, the color White just represents that he is not a part of any life, and Amanaki has the color Black that represents that he has been rejected by half of his Life and he can't be part of any other life anymore

but yeah that is a thing that I would say if you guys have questions just comment on what you have a question of and If I see it I may or may not be able to answer it.
