Chapter 49 - Secret Episode: The Power of One For All

Continuing where we left off

The situation is getting much, much worse, for the first time in my life, I don't know what to do in the situation I'm dealing with.

Because I let my guard down, the villain I'm facing ended up completely stealing my psychic powers, thankfully my strength is still there, but the consequences of losing my second power are affecting me a lot.

Apparently I have an unknown power that is out of control, the bizarre part is that somehow this feeling of this power makes me feel really bad.

So I have to share my attention with the villain and make sure I don't end up making the situation any worse than I should.

The children didn't listen to my orders and stayed behind me, Koharu uses her Quirk to create a giant illusion of me and use it as a cry for help.

Immediately the answer arrives in the form of an explosive boy Bakugou.

Bakugou: I found you, you disgraced villain!

Bakugou entered into combat against the villain who doesn't have much difficulty against him, the explosions are defended with the air barrier and the villain uses my telekinesis to crush Bakugou to the ground.

I wanted to help but this unknown power of mine is getting very difficult to keep in check.

Saito: Bakugou! He has several Quirks at his disposal. He can also steal quirks, which unfortunately I was a victim of.

Bakugou: So it's All For One all over again? All the more reason to end it!

He said this, advancing towards the villain again. This time Bakugou adapted to the villain's attacks and he managed to open a direct attack, but the villain uses a new individuality which is a blue dragon's neck that comes out of his back.

The dragon grabs Bakugou by the mouth, pinning him to the ground.

💭 Calm down Saito. Calm down... Take a deep breath. You may not have the psychic powers to keep what you feel in check, but you cannot allow this situation to get you out of control.

???: You won't stop barking...

Bakugou: You're the one barking!

Bakugou again makes a loud explosion towards the villain, but this was just a distraction.

Bakugou:Hurry up, Damn Saito!

With that in mind, I move forward to throw a punch, but the villain summons a storm cloud and sends powerful lightning falling on Bakugou and me.

Saito:Don't think this is enough for me, you thief!

The villain looks at me, shocked to see me moving despite having received thunder in the face. A white and black aura appears on my right arm and I punch the villain in the stomach, making him groan in pain and sending him flying a short distance away.

💭 I have to hold on! I have to immobilize him to get my powers back.

One thing I notice is that in the place where I threw the punch, the blouse is no longer there.

💭What? I would understand if I ripped off part of his clothes, but not erased everything!

The villain gets up from the ground feeling pain in his body, preventing him from moving forward. A woman with red hair appears and she appears to be in league with the villain.

???: Nine! Hang in there, Nine!

💭So his name is Nine...

Nine:The boy....

He said pointing to the boy Katsuma.

Saito: Don't even think that I'm going to allow you to take one more step!

I say this stepping on the ground making the ground crack with a black and white aura coming out of my body.

Suddenly several crows appeared, standing in front of me and the villains.

Koda:Saito-Sansei, we have to regroup!

Koda said this and I see Shoji picking up the children at the same time, then Uraraka and Tsuyu appear.

Uraraka:Tsu-chan!

Tsuyu: Kero!

Uraraka touches Bakugou making him levitate and Tsuyu uses her tongue to catch him.

💭Tch! I don't like to admit this, but I better back off. I have to maintain control of this new power.

This power is affecting my entire body, and it's as if I'm receiving a shock to my internal body, in addition to the severe headaches that are very strong.

Knowing this, I leave the villains and follow group 1 A.

After the invasion by the group of villains, we took all the residents of the island and took them to a safe area underground. There we use resources to take care of the needs of everyone in the area.

Unfortunately we don't have any more energy, so Kaminari had to power the generators to provide power to the place and Momo used a lot of her energy to create enough materials to take care of the people. The group managed to capture a member of Nine's group, but he refuses to speak, if I had my psychic ability I could pick up information entering his mind.

During this the injured people are being taken care of and I am in a room provided for me and I managed to keep this unknown power stable, now small black and white rays are coming out. Now the headaches are still happening, but the pain is so low that I can bear it without any problems.

💭What power is this? I've never seen this in my life. And why does the feeling of this power give me such chills?

This whole situation is making me very worried. I lost my psychic power, this third power that I have no idea how it came from and why I'm having a lot of strange visions?

With my mind so busy, I don't notice Mina entering the room in silence.

Mina:Saito-kun, are you okay?

Saito: To be honest, I wanted to say yes, but unfortunately I can't give you that answer.

I say this with a sad smile and a worried Mina sits next to me.

Mina:What happened? You're not one to wear that expression.

I remain silent for a while until I decide to tell Mina about the situation that is happening to me, I told her about this 3 ability of mine and that I lost my psychic powers.

This shocked Mina and I see her expression of fear when she thinks that the villain has a very powerful power in her arsenal.

Mina:So he can now do everything you did with your psychic powers?!

Saito: No, he wouldn't be able to master the power in such a short time, but that doesn't take away the fact that he's very dangerous. Now he has this new power that's totally new to me..... I have to admit I'm a little scared.

The moment I said that Mina silenced me by giving me a strong hug and she even placed my face on her breasts.

Mina:Don't say that. You are Saito Tatsumaki the One Punch Man hero. You defeated All For One and became a pro hero. With this you can't lose!

I hug Mina back and start to feel calmer, after a few seconds Mina lets me free from the hug.

Saito: Thank you, Mina. I feel much better now.

Mina: It's no big deal. I'm just doing my duty as your Girlfriend, I can't leave you sad for long.

Mina said this by giving me a quick kiss, I honestly don't regret having her by my side during these moments.

Mina: As much as I really want to enjoy this moment with just the two of us alone, we have a mission to do.

Saito: Right. Let's leave our moment of comfort for after everything.

Mina:Great idea!

With that, Mina and I went to meet the rest of the class to discuss our situation.

Our situation against the villains isn't looking very good for us heroes, we've lost our main source of energy, we don't have a communication signal and Kaminari and Momo are very weak due to the continuous use of their Quirks to help the island's residents.

Nine's plan is to steal Katsuma's Quirk, which is "cell regeneration", meaning the boy can reactivate cells in a person's body. We don't know why Nine wants the boy, but the important thing is that Katsuma is an extremely important person not to allow Nine to take him.

Momo said that before Nine retreated, she sent a drone heading towards U.A to send reinforcements, but she said that the drone will take a long time to send the message and it will take a while for the other heroes to arrive, which means that we are alone and we can't waste any more time.

We had the idea of running away with Katsuma, but this plan was immediately rejected. Knowing that we have no other way to solve the problem we decided to face Nine with her group.

Todoroki:Saito-Sensei, what's the plan?

Saito:We know that we are going to face 3 villains. If we use the castle ruins as our base, the villains will only be one route. When they arrive at the entrance, we will separate them and use the terrain as an advantage.

Bakugou: Then we'll send them to hell!

Mina: Bakugou, don't interrupt!

Saito:The island's residents will be evacuated to the cliff side. Let's protect children personally. We also have to protect our escape route.

Todoroki:How are we going to deal with a guy with multiple Quirks?

Saito: You won't fight him, I will. Nine stole my psychic ability, which makes him too dangerous for you to face, which is why I intend to take care of him while the rest of you stay with the other villains.

The rest of the class wanted to argue with this idea, but they didn't see another safe way to face Nine, especially knowing what my psychic ability can do.

Izuku:I'll help!

I'm surprised to hear him saying he wants to help me fight Nine. It's not just me who's surprised, the rest of the class is too.

Saito:Izuku, do you have any idea how dangerous this idea is?

Izuku: I know it seems crazy, but you're also not in a good position to go all out against him, that's why I ask you to let me help!

I wonder if I should or not, but what Izuku said is right with this new skill in the mix that is only getting in the way rather than helping.

Saito:Okay, you can help, Izuku. Don't complain to me if you go back to the doctor's bed again.

With that we made all the necessary preparations to face the Nine group. We hid the villagers and now we are waiting for the villains to approach.

And it doesn't take long for the two of them to appear and I see the three of them walking in the entrance as planned.

Saito:Okay. They are coming. Momo!

Momo:I know!

Momo uses her last drop of energy and creates two powerful cannons and she fires them in the direction of the villains to separate them, the plan works, but Momo can no longer fight.

Saito:Ok phase 1 done. Uraraka,Sero,Mineta!

After that, it's Uraraka, Mineta and Sero's turn to throw rocks at Nine, forcing him to use his quirks, but this plan didn't work out very well as Nine uses my psychic ability to get the rocks out of the way.

The intention is to use the weakness that I noticed when he was using my psychic ability, it seems that he cannot use his quirks very often to avoid serious damage to his body.

💭Tch! As expected...

Saito:Tch looks like we have to go. Come on Izuku!

Izuku:Hai!

Izuku was the first to attack Nine directly while he is distracted I get Sero, Mineta, Momo, Uraraka and Ayoyama out of the way.

💭Ok they are safe, now just deal with Nine.

My plan against him is very simple, I attack directly while Izuku distracts him, the aim of this is to not let him use my psychic powers too much, but he can already combine his air barrier with psychic energy.

I can't forget the dragons that came out of his back, but I manage to destroy them both with my punches.

Saito: Izuku!

This would 100% kill him instantly, however I had to reduce the power so as not to lose the chance to recover my powers. Nine concrete wall after receiving a lot of damage from my punches.

Izuku: We did it, brother!

Izuku said this being happy that Nine lost, however I knew something is not right.

Nine:I-If I could just get the cell activation quirk. Then I wouldn't have to hold back!

The ground started to shake and Nine started to have a huge green aura that was out of control.

💭Not that!

By instinct I move Izuku out of the way and I am hit by a full-on lightning and psychic pressure sending me into the earth.

Now I'm falling to the surface of the island and I can hear the sound of a storm.

💭Damn he totally lost control. I have to go back! The problem is that I don't know how to fly anymore.

Saito: There's no way we'll have to improvise!

I dig my hand into the ground stopping myself from falling and use my arms to propel myself upwards like a cannonball.

I reach the surface in a few seconds and when I realize I'm in the air I see Izuku having trouble against Nine.

Saito: Nine! I hope you haven't forgotten about me. Rolling Crush!

I use my attack giving a high impact where Nine is defending himself, but the impact made him move away from both of us.

Izuku: Are you okay, brother?

Saito: Let's talk later. We have to deal with the villain a-agh!

I'm interrupted when the pain from my third skill starts to become difficult to control.

Small black and white rays came out of my body, taking Izuku by surprise.

Izuku:What is this, brother?

Saito:Argh! A big one of a problem! Ahgf! Shit!

Izuku runs towards me, becoming very worried about my situation.

Saito: Izuku doesn't stay near me! Or if not you will be affected!

I say this being extremely serious and with a lot of fear going through my body.

💭 Damn! Why now at this time?!

While I'm having serious problems, Nine decides to go with everything he has.

Nine:It can't... It can't end like this... This can't be the end!

Completely losing track of danger, Nine uses his powers to make a huge tornado with psychic energy to pull in more clouds and control the direction of the tornado.

Satio:I was just missing it!

Izuku:We have to destroy this Tornado! We can't let it get inside the island!

Saito: Tch! He took the words out of my mouth. Let's go!

Even with control problems, I move towards the tornado with Izuku following along.

But the worst happens due to the pain I'm feeling, I can't destroy the tornado, much less Izuku, and with that we were both consumed by the tornado.

After being thrown into the air, Izuku and I are still managing to stay upright.

💭 Damn, the situation is getting much worse than I expected.

Nine: It's no use. You simply don't have the strength to defeat me. You will not survive in my new world that I will create.

Izuku:A new world?

Nine:A world ruled by power. The strong will rule the weak in my utopia.

Saito:That's a cliché goal!

I say that and Nine summons the dragons to arrest me and Izuku.

Nine: It doesn't matter if you are a villain or a hero. Everyone will be equal before absolute power. This is what true superhuman society should be like.

Izuku: How selfish can you be?!

Saito: You're really an idiot if you think this dream will last until everyone is dead!

Nine:If you intend to get in my way. My duty is to eliminate you.

Nine said this and he starts using the dragons jaws to squeeze me and Izuku.

💭Damn, I can't go all out, I don't want to destroy everything and cause a big problem, there must be another way.

Katsuma:Mister Deku!

Koharu:Saito!

Katsuma/Koharu:Don't give up!!!!

Nine:There you are.

Nine said this walking towards Katsuma.

Izuku: Brother. There is a way to help you and solve our problem. One way we have to defeat him....

I am speechless when I see Izuku extending his bloody hand towards me and immediately All Might's words echo in my mind.

All Might: My quirk was passed to me like a sacred torch. The power to transfer power.

Seeing Izuku giving this idea makes me hesitate on what to do due to the importance of his choice, which makes me enter into an internal conflict as to whether I accept it or not.

All Might:Heroes have a lot to protect. That's why I won't miss it!

Izuku: Brother....

Izuku begs, extending his arm as far as he can and I have to make a quick choice since Nine is getting close to Katsuma.

All Might: A true hero will always find a way for justice to be served!

Arriving at a choice, I decide to extend my arm, which has a black and white aura, towards Izuku.

With that, the two brothers shake hands and One For All is absorbed by Saito, gaining another Quirk.

Because of this the dragons are destroyed and this catches Nine's attention who turns around seeing the two boys still standing.

Saito: After that, will you still be able to use your power?

Izuku:I don't know but.... All Might protected us with the embers after transferring him to me.

Nine starts to get angry that he can't understand how they are getting even stronger.

Nine:What did you do?!

Saito/Izuku:With two One For All.

Izuku:Let's save everyone!

Saito: With this we will win!

Nine:Why don't you weaklings just die?!

Nine said this by creating yet another tornado and increasing the power of his storm, covering the entire island in a very dense black cloud.

Saito: This could be the end of your dream, Izuku.

Izuku: It's okay, there's no other way. I'm sure All Might will agree if it's you. You knew our secret and kept it. And I always had the impression that you admired him too.

This made Saito recall memories from his past much more fluidly and he hears his best friend's voice.

Yumi:Hey, Saito-kun, All Might is really cool!

And Izuku on the other side is remembering himself when he was a child.

Izuku (child): He's a really cool hero.

Yumi:No matter how difficult it is in the end for the heroes....

Saito: They always win!!!

Izuku (child): No matter how difficult it is to save someone, heroes always...

Izuku:Save them with a smile!

The two brothers prepare a combined attack and Nine, fed up, decides to throw an entire storm at the island.

Nine:Don't make me laugh!

With that, the two brothers attack in complete synchrony.

Satio/Izuku:DETROIT SMASH!!!!

With a single double punch, Izuku and Saito completely destroy Nine's storm, opening a huge hole in the sky, letting sunlight reach the island.

Nine being very surprised starts to get furious to see that everything he is doing is not working.

Nine:What is this power?!

Saito and Izuku focus their attention on Nine and Saito suffers a slight headache, but with the help of One For All, he manages to put his mysterious power in check.

Izuku: Let's go, brother!

Saito: Right. Time to end this here is now!

The battle that takes place is difficult to describe. Saito and Izuku use everything One For All can offer to defeat Nine, well being more specific Saito, already knowing One For All's secrets, uses all the other quirks he has in store.

And with that, Nine receives blow after blow without stopping, especially since he is dealing with two One For All users.

And with Nine in his last breaths, Saito and Izuku decide to end the fight, but Saito himself, having recovered all his memories lost during the fight, had to make a very serious choice.

Saito:And this.... It's my first and last....

The last.

MY LAST!!!

SMASH!!!

Izuku gives a kick to Nine's neck and Saito gives a fatal punch to the villain's chest, killing him at the same time and his body goes into the deep sea, due to the wave of adrenaline, Izuku doesn't see what Saito did and he spends all his energy and he loses consciousness.

But Saito is still standing....

Saito takes Izuku's body out of the sea and he sits on a nearby rock.

Saito: I remembered everything...Yumi..... Tamaki....

Saito is now not in a good state mentally now that he has managed to regain his psychic powers he is in a state of panic.

He got his powers back thanks to his third ability, after having his memories back he knows what this power can do.

But the information he acquired comes at a heavy price.

Satio:How could I allow that to happen?! Now I know why I can't remember what happened in city B. Now I know what makes me feel have this desire to continue watching anime even though I have no idea why I started to like it! Now all makes sense!

Saito is feeling many emotions at the same time, the truth is being very painful for the young boy who now has tears coming out of his eyes.

Saito: Forgive me, Yumi, Tamaki! I should be there! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO PREVENT THAT TRAGEDY FROM HAPPENING!!! I DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE DESTROYED AN ENTIRE CITY!

However, unfortunately, due to Saito's serious emotional state, he is unable to maintain his third power, which is starting to spread on the island.

Saito:Unfortunately, I'm not strong enough to keep this power under control. Now I understand why my mother sealed these memories..... So I wouldn't explode like I did last time...

Saito decides to put his hands on his head and he starts using his psychic powers to do something very painful.

Saito: I'm not going to like this at all, but there's no other way. Either that or the entire world will be DESTROYED! I.... I just hope that when... I get my memories back.... I'm strong enough to bear the weight of this pain....

With this Saito screams in the agonizing pain of using his telikinesis to seal his own memories of the past in hopes that in the future he will be strong enough to withstand the truth.

Izuku's Vision

After the fight against Nine, I ended up losing consciousness, but after a while I woke up and saw that the heroes' reinforcements had arrived and All Might came to talk to me.

I told him that I transferred One For All to my brother Saito, but to my surprise and that of All Might, One For All did not stay in Saito's body, All Might said that it is possible that the transfer was not complete because complete or One For All itself performed a miracle. Anyway I didn't lose the Quirk and all the villains were arrested.

Saito:Onch! My head, it feels like someone punched me in the head.

My brother said that he woke up after losing consciousness. Saito doesn't remember anything about transferring One For All to him. Later, Koharu and Katsuma's father returned to be reunited with his children.

We managed to protect everyone on the island with very few injuries. The public security commission project was suspended. But we stayed on the island for a little longer, to help with the island's reconstructions. Fortunately Saito somehow got his second Quirk back and with that he was able to speed up the reconstruction.

And then, finally, it was time to go home.

The rest of the gang and I are on our travel ship and everyone has their bags in their hands.

Kaminari:Are we really going to leave without saying goodbye to them?

Mina: You'll know.

Iida: We don't want to interfere with the reconstruction.

Todoroki: We've already done everything we could.

Mina: Well, I'm going to rest, I have to have energy to go home.

Kaminari: You're just making an excuse to see your boyfriend, aren't you?

Mina: It's nothing like that!

Meanwhile I go to my brother who has his body resting on the railing of the ship that is already starting to leave the island.

Izuku:Time passed pretty quickly, didn't it?

Satio:In a way....

Izuku: How's your head? Not dealing with pain?

Saito: Nothing has happened yet. I just.....feel like.....I lost something very important to me, but I can't figure out what it is.

Izuku: What do you mean?

Saito: Forget it, it's probably no big deal. Anyway. Are you really leaving without saying goodbye to the kids?

Izuku: There are things I wanted to say to them. But its alright. I'm sure they already know how I feel.

Saito: Hmpf.

Suddenly we both hear Koharu and Katsuma calling me and my brother, I see the two running on the floor of the port trying to reach the ship.

Koharu: Guys!

Koharu/Katsuma: Thank you everyone for protecting us!

Katsuma: Deku-san! I will stay strong! I will be strong enough to protect my Daddy and my sister! Just wait! And then, I'll become as cool a hero as you and Saito!

He said this and made my brother and I smile as we heard everything.

Saito:Be prepared boy! The path is very long and arduous, but if you don't lose your determination, nothing will stop you!

I only had a single sentence, the same words that my idol said to me that day.

Izuku: Katsuma-kun! You can! You can be a hero too! See you at U.A. someday!

With these words we said goodbye to the island and set off on our way back to our school days at U.A.

It's going to get a little weird and out of order when the mink arc arrives, but I did this so you guys already have some knowledge beforehand.
