Chapter 13 - Saito VS Izuku fight between brothers

When the fight between Shoto and I ended I had to get a new shirt, since the other one was burned in the fight. Shoto was taken to the infirmary and I returned to the stands.

Everyone in my class, with the exception of Bakugou, praised me for my victory against Todoroki.

After that, it happened as in the original story, Kaminari lost to the green-haired girl, Mina won against Aiyoma, Mei Hatsume made Iida become a human test of her inventions and when she ended up leaving the fight, giving Iida the humiliating victory.

After all that, it was time for the fight between Momo and Tokoyami, which could have been an interesting fight if Momo hadn't been thinking too much.

Because of her failure to pay attention to her surroundings, she was defeated very easily.

I see Momo coming back with a less than happy expression after the defeat. I get up from the stands and Deku notices that I'm leaving.

Izuku:Brother, where are you going?

Saito:I'm going to talk to a certain "someone"

Izuku understood what I'm saying so he went back to watching the next fights.

In the stadium corridors I see Momo going to enter the waiting room, but I stop her before she enters.

Saito: I saw your fight just now.

It's clear that Momo is frustrated and she's holding herself back from letting it consume her.

Momo:If you came to tell me about my mistakes, this is not a good time.

Saito: Actually, that's not why I came here, well, not exactly.

Momo: What do you mean?

💭I'm terrible at trying to cheer someone up, but come on.

Saito: I can talk about your mistakes about your fight, but we both already know that you already know the reasons for your defeat.

💭I'm glad I know Momo's strengths, if it weren't for that I wouldn't even be able to say all of this.

Momo was silent when she heard what I said until she surprised me by giving me a tight hug. She was a little embarrassed, but she managed it and I remained unresponsive the entire time.

Saito:Great! Now you can go, I don't want to take up more of your time.

With that Momo entered the waiting room and I start to go back to the stands, on the way I find Mina with her arms crossed, tapping her foot on the floor and she is looking at me with a less than satisfied look.

Mina:Where were you Saito Midoriya?

💭Who are you? My mom?

Saito:I was having a chat with Momo.

Mina: A "chat"? With a hug in the middle?

Saito: Huh? Isn't it normal between friends?

Mina:She looked like she was going to kiss you!

💭I highly doubt it. Yes, she became very close to me, but I think it would be difficult for that to happen.

Saito:And what were you doing? Followed me and watched my conversation with Momo?

Mina:I was worried!

Saito:With what?

Mina saw that she said too much and covered her mouth and for some reason she turned even redder.

Mina: Forget it!

💭Huh?! Do you have PMS girl?

Mina: Bakugou's fight with Ochako is about to start! You just need to see it.

She said this, quickly leaving me and returning to the stands and I looked stupid. Never in my otaku life have I seen Mina Ashido like that, neither in the anime nor in the manga that she acted like that!

💭Was she jealous of Momo? No! It's not possible! If I'm not mistaken, she has interest in Kirishima?

I decide to leave this aside for now after all, I don't have the mind to try to find out what goes on in a girl's head and how can you try to open Pandora's box.

Minutes later

I watched the fight between Bakugou and Uraraka and the fight was like normally, Uraraka tried to use her plan only for it to almost work and Bakugou defeated her making her fall from exhaustion. As incredible as this fight may seem, it is one of the few moments that shows that Bakugou has a good side, even if it is very difficult to notice.

Anyway, now I'm going to tell you one of the moments that I thought my actions wouldn't change much, but this fight between Izuku and I was....well I'll say it on the way.

Normally Deku was supposed to fight Shoto in this fight, but due to my actions I changed the story so now I'm going to fight the protagonist.

For the first time in my life I'm nervous because I don't know what I'm going to do in this fight.

💭Do I give up the fight? Do I let Deku win? Damn I don't want to get in his way, but.....shit I don't know what to do!

Before I could reach a decision Present Mic gave the signal that the fight was about to begin.

💭And now or never.

Without much choice I head towards the arena to start the fight.

Saito:Here we go.

Arena narrator's view

Present Mic: Thanks for waiting there guys! The first fight of the second phase will be a great special confrontation!!!

Everyone see Saito entering the arena with a neutral expression, but with eyes that show nervousness.

Present Mic:The man who drove everyone crazy with his limitless power in the first phase! From the hero course, his name is Saito Midoriya!!!

Everyone see Izuku walking up to the arena with a very determined and focused expression.

Present Mic:On the other side, he was the one who went through a lot of trouble in the first phase! What kind of fight are we going to have now guys?! From the hero course, his name is Izuku Midoriya!!!

Present Mic:Yes guys you are not thinking wrong! Our fighters are brothers! In other words, we are going to have a family fight for the first time!!!

Saito:So you came Izuku.

Izuku:Yes brother. I can't stop moving forward!

Saito: I'm not surprised coming from you.

In the stands, everyone in class A-1 is worried about this fight, even Bakugou is quiet and hasn't said anything the entire time.

Uraraka: Hey Tokoyami, what do you think about what will happen in this fight?

Mina: And even I'm nervous and I'm just watching!

Tokoyami:Honestly, Midoriya doesn't have any chance against his older brother, we've seen what he can do firsthand and it's impossible to think he'll win, however...

Iida: However?

Tokoyami: However, Saito also knows that Midoriya will lose, but there is a chance that he will give up fighting against Midoriya after all he is in his brother's path, knowing Saito and possibly thinking that he will drop the towel.

Uraraka:The problem is whether Deku-kun will accept this.

13:All Might, do you think Saito's little brother will lose?

All Might: I don't know, but I'm sure young Midoriya will do something.

When Present Mic gave the signal I was going to open my mouth, but Izuku flicked the air and a strong wind caught my vision.

Izuku approached me and started attacking me with melee attacks, but I dodged them all without a problem.

Saito:Wait a minute Izuku! Let me speak!

Izuku: I think you'd better be paying attention to the fight!

Taking advantage of my shock, Izuku punched me in the face and made a loud impact around it, oddly enough he didn't break his arm completely yet, but he felt the pain.

Izuku:Arrhg!!!

Present Mic: Oh my goodness!!! Saito received a free punch from his brother and he didn't even move a muscle!

💭Damn! I'm going to have to stop him so he can hear me.

When he was about to attack me, once again I held both of his arms, not letting him attack.

Saito:Stop being stubborn, listen to me! I don't want to fight you!

Izuku: Yes,but I do!

Izuku kicked my stomach using all his power on one leg and that made me let go of his arms due to my surprise.

Present Mic:Wow my people, what is this?! Saito says he doesn't want to fight, but his brother says the opposite, what kind of rivalry is that?!

Aizawa: It's not a rivalry, these two were never rivals to begin with and it's just Saito trying to give way to Midoriya, but Midoriya himself doesn't want to have a victory like that.

I see Deku trying to get up, but because of his action he is having difficulty standing and it seems like he can't run much, but he still ignores the pain.

Saito: Izuku, aren't you noticing? If you try to beat me you'll only hurt yourself more! So you won't be able to have a chance in the next rounds...

Izuku: I know that, but I also don't want you to give up the fight, we are both enemies now and you can go all out on me!

Saito: Do you realize what you said?! Do you know what will happen if I go all out?

Izuku:I know about the risks, but I also know that you know how to control yourself so I'm not afraid of that.

Saito: Why do you insist on this so much?

Izuku:Because I want to show you how strong I can get!

Saito:What?

Izuku: I want to fight you because you were by my side through my ups and downs, you who wouldn't let me give up where I am. I know what you can do and I admire you so much for who you are! You ended up becoming a model of the hero I want to be!

Saito:Nani?! But aren't you a fan of All Might?!

Izuku:Yes I am! And that will never change, I want to have the title of number 1, but I also want to be like you when I get there! Knowing that I'm against you, I want to go all out on you and show that I can do it and that I'll be number 1!!!

I had no words to say what I was feeling at that moment, honestly to this day I don't know what was going through Izuku's head that day, but oddly enough I felt proud to hear that.

💭So this is the power of speech no jutsu, but what a dangerous power it is, no wonder I think Naruto is a shepherd.

When I noticed I'm smiling with joy at hearing what Izuku said my nervousness was replaced by adrenaline.

Saito:Yare,Yare,fazer.... it looks like I was infected by Izuku's virus.

💭 Apparently I really changed his life, it seems like I stole some of his work All Might.

I look at my brother with an expression of determination and I keep smiling.

Saito:Okay then! If that's what you want, who am I to refuse my brother's request, come on Izuku! Show me your motivation!

Izuku:Hai!

Like the fight between Shoto and Izuku, but different from the original fight, Deku didn't screw his fingers.

Narrator's view

Both brothers prepare to attack, but the one who advanced was Izuku, who uses his other leg to close the distance from his older brother who didn't move from his spot.

Both with their fists ready to attack, blood bubbling and adrenaline rising to heights.

Izuku/Saito:Ahhhhhhhh!!!

When you least expect it, the brothers' fists collide and the entire arena shakes.

BOOOOOOM

As in the fight between Shoto everyone had to protect themselves from being blown up, Midnight this time was prepared for the occasion and she had something to hold on to.

The brothers' fists are still clashing, releasing an impact wave so huge that it is destroying the arena in seconds.

Izuku/Saito:Ahhhhhhh!!!!!

Until finally one lost the fight.

Izuku was thrown away, but before he could hit the wall Saito stopped him in midair using his telikinesis.

When everything calmed down Midnight shouted the result.

Midnight: Izuku is in no condition to fight and he is unconscious so the winner is Saito Midoriya who advances to the 3rd phase.

The audience and even Present Mic went wild after seeing this fight.

And Saito is looking at his brother with a proud smile on his face and one of his fists is smoking.

💭Izuku among all the fights I fought, you were the only person who let my heart beat with adrenaline. This may seem like a small thing, but it's big for me so...

Saito: Thank you very much, Izuku Midoriya for giving me a taste of a good fight.
