As the Koenigsegg Gemera glided into the school parking lot, heads turned and whispers spread like wildfire. Morty's arrival was always a spectacle, but today the car's sleek, futuristic design and powerful hum amplified the usual attention.
Morty, Jessica, and Summer stepped out of the car, greeted by a mix of admiration and envy from their peers. Morty shrugged off the attention with a casual grin, his confidence bolstered by Jessica's presence at his side.
"Nice ride, Morty!" a voice called from across the lot. He waved back nonchalantly, his eyes scanning the crowd for familiar faces. Jessica slipped her hand into his, grounding him amidst the chaos of morning arrivals.
They made their way through the throngs of students, heading towards their lockers. As they approached, a group of girls gathered nearby broke into excited chatter.
"Hey, Morty! That car is amazing!" one of the Andavaverse girls exclaimed, her eyes wide with admiration.
"Thanks," Morty replied with a modest smile, feeling a flush of pride.
"It's a Koenigsegg Gemera. I got lucky and managed to buy it."
Jessica beamed beside him, proud of Morty's accomplishments. Summer, already used to the attention, rolled her eyes playfully.
"Alright, Morty, don't let it get to your head," she teased, nudging him lightly.
After a few more exchanges and compliments, the bell rang, signaling the start of the school day. Morty and Jessica said their goodbyes to Summer, who headed off to her own class.
"See you at lunch!" Summer called over her shoulder, disappearing into the bustling hallway.
Morty and Jessica made their way to their classroom, slipping into their seats just as the teacher began taking attendance. As the lessons started, Morty couldn't help but steal glances at Jessica, the morning's excitement still buzzing in his veins.
The attention had been nice, but what made it truly worthwhile was sharing it with Jessica. As the teacher droned on, Morty's mind wandered to the adventures the rest of the day might hold, both in and out of the classroom.
The school day progressed with its usual routine of lectures, discussions, and assignments. Morty, however, was no longer the same student who once struggled with the monotony of academia.
Morty has a perfect memory storing the vast amount of knowledge in the back of his head where he simply needs to think about it and immediately know the answer.
He will remember them only if triggered by something because it would be bad if he remembered every detail in every moment.
As the second period began, Mr. Franklin, the science teacher, couldn't ignore Morty's presence—or rather, his absences—any longer. Clearing his throat, he addressed the class with his stern voice.
"Before we dive into today's lesson, I'd like to have a word with Mr. Smith."
Morty glanced up nonchalantly, sensing the inevitable confrontation. Jessica shot him a worried look, but Morty gave her a reassuring smile.
"Morty, you've been absent quite a bit lately," Mr. Franklin began, crossing his arms.
"Care to explain where you've been?"
Morty leaned back in his chair, a confident smirk playing on his lips.
"Just... busy with some important stuff, Mr. Franklin. You know, life outside these walls."
Mr. Franklin frowned, but before he could launch into a lecture, Morty continued.
"But I don't think that's affecting my grades, right?" He pulled out his latest assignment, a meticulously detailed report on a historical event that left even Mr. Franklin momentarily speechless.
"Yes, well... You've definitely improved, but attendance is important too, Mr.Smith." Mr. Franklin stammered, trying to regain control of the conversation. Morty shrugged.
"Guess I'm just getting better at managing my time. Besides, isn't the point of school to learn? And I'm learning plenty."
The other students, sensing the unexpected turn of events, exchanged amused glances. Even the strictest teachers found it difficult to argue with results, and Morty's recent performance had been nothing short of extraordinary. Seeing that he was losing the argument, Mr. Franklin sighed and moved on.
"Alright, everyone. Open your textbooks to page 142."
As the lesson resumed, Morty felt a sense of satisfaction. It wasn't that he enjoyed undermining authority; he just saw no point in adhering to rules that no longer seemed relevant to him. His knowledge that he gathered along with the experiences that Rick had taught him more about the universe than any textbook ever could. Jessica leaned over and whispered.
"How do you do that?" Morty shrugged, his expression relaxed.
"I just don't let it get to me. School's just a place to hang out and keep my mom off my back. The real learning happens elsewhere." Jessica nodded, impressed by Morty's newfound confidence. As the period drew to a close, Morty felt a wave of calm wash over him.
The bell rang, signaling the start of lunch. Morty and Jessica walked together towards the cafeteria, their conversation punctuated with laughter. As they entered the bustling space, filled with the mingled scents of various lunch options and the noise of hundreds of students, they spotted Summer sitting with her friends, Tricia and Nancy.
"Hey, Summer," Morty called out, waving as they approached the table. Summer looked up from her conversation and smiled.
"Hey, Morty! Jessica! Come sit with us." Tricia and Nancy, both engrossed in their own discussion, glanced up and greeted them with warm smiles. Morty and Jessica slid into the seats across from Summer.
"Nice to see you two," Tricia said, her eyes twinkling with curiosity.
"Everyone's been talking about your car, Morty. It's pretty amazing." Morty chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah, it's a Koenigsegg Gemera. Glad you like it." Nancy leaned forward, her interest piqued.
"How did you even get a car like that? It's not exactly a typical high school ride." Morty shrugged, adopting a modest tone.
"Let's just say I saved up and found a way. A little luck, a little help from family." Summer rolled her eyes playfully.
"Don't let him fool you. Morty's got a knack for finding himself in interesting situations."
The group laughed, and the conversation shifted to lighter topics—upcoming exams, weekend plans, and the latest school gossip. Morty felt a sense of ease settle over him. Despite the morning's attention and the constant pressure of living up to Rick's expectations, moments like these reminded him of the simple joys of high school life.
"So, Morty," Nancy asked, breaking into his thoughts.
"Are you and Jessica doing anything special this weekend?" Jessica smiled, squeezing Morty's hand under the table.
"We might just hang out, maybe catch a movie or something."
"Sounds fun." Tricia said.
"We should all do something together sometime."
Morty nodded, appreciating the normalcy of the suggestion.
"Yeah, that sounds cool. Let's plan something."
As the lunchtime chatter flowed around them, Summer leaned in closer to Morty, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Hey, Morty, what do you think about having a party at your new villa this Saturday?"
Morty's eyebrows shot up in surprise, but a mischievous grin quickly spread across his face.
"A party? At the villa? That could be fun," he replied, excitement tingling in his veins.
Jessica, Tricia, and Nancy, who had been engrossed in their own conversation, turned to look at Morty and Summer, their expressions a mix of surprise and curiosity.
"You have a villa?" Jessica asked, her eyes widening in disbelief. Morty scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
"Uh, yeah, I guess I forgot to mention it. It's... kind of new." Tricia and Nancy exchanged incredulous looks, clearly taken aback by the revelation.
"You bought a villa and didn't tell us?" Tricia exclaimed, her tone half-amused, half-accusatory. Morty shrugged since he didn't find it a big deal.
"I guess I didn't think it was a big deal. But hey, now that you know, you're all invited to the party." Summer grinned, delighted by Morty's enthusiastic response.
"It'll be epic, I promise. We can invite everyone from school, have music, drinks—"
"—And maybe even some excitement." Morty added with a wink, unable to resist the temptation to inject a bit of his sexual innuendo into the mix.
Tricia and Nancy exchanged excited glances, clearly intrigued by the prospect of a party at Morty's villa. Jessica, while initially surprised, found herself caught up in the excitement as well.
"Count me in," she said, flashing Morty a smile.
"This sounds like it'll be a blast."
Morty grinned back at her, feeling a surge of excitement coursing through him. The idea of hosting a party at his new villa was exhilarating, a chance to bring together friends, old and new, for a night of fun and memories.
As Morty and his friends enjoyed their lunchtime banter, a group of familiar faces approached their table. Morty's eyebrow raise as he recognized Ester, Pelo, Grace, Eva, Darcy, Renae, Cassie, Brianna, and Na-Na Kim—the girls he referred to as the "Andavaverse girls," a term because they looked like the characters from the artist Andava.
The Andavaverse girls sauntered over with confidence, their laughter and energy filling the cafeteria.
"Morty!" Ester exclaimed, her voice ringing out above the chatter of the cafeteria.
"Long time no see. We've been wondering where you've been hiding."
Morty chuckled nervously, exchanging a glance with Jessica, who looked on with mild amusement.
"Hey, girls. Yeah, I've been... around." Pelo, always the bold one, slid into the seat next to Morty with a sly grin.
"You didn't forget about us, did you?" Morty shook his head, a sheepish smile playing on his lips.
"Of course not. How could I forget my girls?"
The group erupted into laughter, their easy camaraderie evident to anyone watching. Despite the unconventional nature of their relationship, Morty and the Andavaverse girls shared a strong bond courtesy of his Binding essence.
"So, Morty, what have you been up to lately?" Grace asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Just... you know, the usual. Hanging out, doing stuff." Morty shrugged, trying to play it cool.
"Come on, Morty. Don't be coy. We know you've always got something interesting going on." Eva leaned in closer, her voice teasing. Morty chuckled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with the group.
"Alright, alright. Maybe I've been up to a few things."
As Morty and his friends enjoyed their lunch, the conversation turned to plans for the upcoming weekend. Morty couldn't shake the excitement of the party idea that Summer had proposed earlier, and he decided to extend the invitation to the Andavaverse girls.
"Hey, um, girls," Morty began, clearing his throat as all eyes turned to him.
"So, I was thinking... I'm having a party at my new villa this Saturday. It'd be cool if you all could come."
The Andavaverse girls exchanged surprised glances, their expressions shifting from confusion to disbelief. Morty could almost see the wheels turning in their heads as they processed the unexpected invitation.
"Wait, you have a villa?" Darcy exclaimed, her voice tinged with astonishment. Morty nodded, feeling a flush of pride at their reaction.
"Yeah, it's kinda new. But it's gonna be a great party, I promise." Summer, ever the showstopper, seized the opportunity to add her own flourish.
"Oh, you guys should definitely come," she chimed in, her tone dripping with casual confidence.
"It's gonna be the party of the year. Morty's got this amazing place, and we're gonna make sure it's a night to remember."
The Andavaverse girls exchanged excited glances, the prospect of attending a party at Morty's villa clearly too tantalizing to resist. Morty couldn't help but feel a swell of satisfaction at their enthusiastic response.
"Count us in!" Na-Na Kim exclaimed, speaking for the group.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world."
Morty grinned, feeling a surge of excitement at the prospect of hosting such an eclectic group of friends at his new villa. With the Andavaverse girls on board, the party promised to be even more memorable than he'd anticipated..
As the lunchtime conversation continued, Brianna, one of the Andavaverse girls, leaned in with a curious expression.
"So, Morty, where exactly is your villa?"
Morty hesitated for a moment, weighing his options. He hadn't planned on revealing the exact location, but something about Brianna's genuine curiosity prompted him to share.
"It's on xxx xxx." Morty replied, his voice casual yet tinged with a hint of excitement. Brianna's eyes widened in surprise.
"No way! I live just a few blocks from there." Morty's eyebrows shot up in surprise, a grin spreading across his face.
"Seriously? That's wild." Brianna nodded eagerly.
"Yeah, small world, right?" Morty chuckled, feeling a sense of connection with Brianna.
"Well, now you'll get to see it up close and personal. You're definitely coming to the party, right?" Brianna nodded enthusiastically.
"Absolutely! I wouldn't miss it for anything."
With that, Morty and Jessica gathered their things and headed off to their next class while Summer went to her class with Tricia and Nancy while Andavaverse girl's did the same.
