Chereads / THE WATCHER: WAR WITH GOD / Chapter 5 - The Scent of Rapture

Chapter 5 - The Scent of Rapture

It is time for Christ's ascension, highly exalted above every name. Gabriel spoke to Christ with his head bowed using the Vision Day. Christ replied firmly, "We will take the Orb, the heart of Ohe, from the Lord of Ozan before we destroy everything Ohe has created. This I command."

Jenner was trembling after what she had witnessed. She ran as fast as she could, and Christ didn't chase her, knowing she was of no use and what she saw was insignificant compared to what would happen.

Meanwhile, Zain was meditating, attempting to calm himself as he saw visions of the future. The images became disturbing, and he stopped, his heart racing and sweat dripping.

"I have to see him," he heard a voice say. "Let me in!" it shouted.

Zain sighed in exasperation. "What now?" he muttered, opening the door as guards ran after the intruder.

" Let her in, he told the guards, What do you want?" Zain asked Jenner, his anger palpable.

"I need to tell you something," she said, breathing heavily.

Zain frowned, his frustration evident. "You have to leave," he insisted.

"Why?" she retorted.

"Go be with Christ, kiss him, do whatever you want. I don't care, really," Zain replied bitterly.

"I can't be with Christ," she confessed.

"Why?" Zain approached her, curious now.

"Because he is the reason for Rapture. He is part of the Trinity; he is Yahweh in Oz form," she explained urgently.

Zain was taken aback. "What do you mean, Yahweh? How do you know about Rapture?" he demanded.

"You have to believe me, not because of me, but for the love you have for your people," she pleaded, fear evident in her eyes.

Zain hesitated, his mind swirling with conflicting thoughts. He looked into her eyes, contemplating the strength of Christ and the truth of her words, then turned and walked away.

"Where are you going?" Jenner called after him.

Jenner followed him, her heart heavy with worry, but Zain was determined to confront the looming threat.

"To end this for my people," Zain declared as he walked out, his resolve firm. "No one gets out alive" he said flew to the sky and headed to mountain du.

"Christ", he yelled as he went for a Shiva split, his hand brought out a sign and he fell to the ground Crying loud,

"You are my slave now and you can't hurt me for you bear the mark of Christ, You shall be with me in heaven, I love you my child you shall be great", as Christ spoke he ascended to heaven his glory shining everywhere, he disappears in the sky.

"I caused it, I am ashamed of myself, I can't save myself, I need another person to help, I defy my godliness for jealousy of another, who am I to look in the mirror, an able adult who can not stand for himself, soon death would come to my door and I won't defend this idiot, I will only fight for my people" he lamented.

He stood up as his guard came to take him to the palace.

Later, Zain addressed the gathered war generals and rulers of Ozan. "Times and seasons are part of living. Yesterday was a time of celebration, but tomorrow will always be a time for war," he declared solemnly. "We keep peace for a time, but we can only protect peace with war."

The leaders murmured in agreement as Zain continued. "Our plan is to attack with all our might. We will keep sending different legions of soldiers to attack from different angles, one by one, to make them think we are much and delay their advance. The only way they can enter is through Christ's portal, which only allows a limited number of angels to come in or go out. That's why we will have more soldiers attacking them than they attacking us."

A voice in the crowd raised a concern. "But what about the Highlander way? If they break that portal, they can enter randomly from anywhere."

Zain smiled confidently. "The portal can only be opened by royal blood, which is I, my father, and Zipporah. So, we are in safe hands. Even if we have a slim chance of winning, we will take it."

Some generals and warlords refused to fight for there thought there have their lives to Christ and there should love their neighbors. Zain was hesitant to stop them as he believed fighting without one's heart is as fighting for nothing.

The soldiers of Ozan stood ready for war, their hearts beating with determination. Zuma, the strongest among them, sat on his throne, deep in thought for he wasn't prepared for the day he prepared his son and his soldiers for to some extent you could say he was afraid of outcomes, Even Jenner was ready for war not listening to Zain's words .

As the drums began to play and the dancers took their places, the atmosphere was tense. The sun seemed to dim as a sense of impending doom filled the air, General Gamalia rose up with a loud voice and said "only those having nothing to loose will live the longest.

Zain pondered his fate, grappling with thoughts of failure and victory. But as he looked at his people, united in purpose like never before, he knew that no matter the outcome, they would fight with all their might. And as a ray of light pierced the darkness, heralding the arrival of a massive angel, Zain's thoughts turned not to defeat or triumph, but to the unwavering resolve of his people and the hope they carried in their hearts.

With banners raised and swords drawn, Engines from Sky crafts where prepared , every great magicians stood firm they stood ready to face the greatest challenge of their lives, prepared to fight for their freedom and the future of their world. And as the battle cry echoed across the land, they charged forward, ready to meet their destiny head-on.
