Chapter 1 - Zain

1 Zain

(please before you dive in, this is no hate to any religion but about finding one's part and most of the first volume is not on earth)

"Again", Zuma yelled at Zain.

"Shiva split," Zain said with a loud voice but only a spark of light came out.

"Again," Zuma said,

"I am Shiva split," Zain replied swiftly but nothing happened.

"Dad, it's not working, I can't do it," Zain lamented.

"Never say 'I can't'," his dad replied sternly, "but how can you do this? One day our planet would rest on your shoulders, and only you would determine the actions of this world when the time of battle is near."

"But dad, how can I fight him if he eventually weighs war on us? He destroyed Ohe, the sovereign supreme being of our universe. Surely you don't think that I would defeat him. I can't do it," Zain said, his voice tinged with fear.

"Shut up! Your mother died in war for you to live to see the next day, and you just give up because you are afraid," his dad rebuked.

"But when would this war stop? I mean, when will it end?" Zain asked, his fear palpable.

"There is no peace in this world. All it is, is preparation for war, and only the victors get to write the story, and the minority will be declared evil and disgraced," his dad replied gravely.

"How can I stand in between Yahweh? He can get anything," Zain said, his desperation evident as he fell to his knees.

Look at me, son. We both share the heart of Ohe, and only two of us can summon his heart back to power. And if it enters the wrong hands, then his legacy would be gone, and freedom as we know it. You won't be seeing Jenner till you master the Shiva split," his dad said, turning and walking out of the training ground.

Not fair, dad," Zain murmured.

"All is fair in love and war so get to work," his dad said as the door shut.

Shiva split, ahhh, Shiva split, ahhh. This is no use.

"Good evening, Lord Zuma. I am here to see Zain," Jenner said with a low tune.

"He won't be meeting you today," the guard replied.

Confused from her looks and replied but he promised today we where going to see the carnivals,

Zuma's looks made her stuttered her last words.

Jenner was always a very sneaky girl who never takes no for an answer, kinda cocky but that would be extreme to say, she and Zain knew each other since there were kids, but were always good friends, Zain did love her nevertheless good friendship comes with a price of the friend zone which Zain could not break out of but was happy to some extent because there were gonna get married by civil laws of her being the daughter of Gamalia the general of the fleet of all the nations in Ozan which makes the power of Zuma stronger through marriage.

Zain hoped that she would learn to love him when there stay longer together, cus who knows staying closer as husband and wife could boost their feelings between each other, probably he might be right but not everything changes.

Jenner, undeterred, knocked again. "Ha ha, protector of Ozan," she laughed.

How did you get past the guards? Zain asked, unsurprised.

"Really, you still think those guards my dad gives instructions to would stop me? Give me a break, Zain. Let's go to the carnival right now won't miss it for you this time again," Jenner said, determined.

Zain felt guilty. "I know but if I cannot do the Shiva split, am not allowed to go out besides the doors are locked with greater magic than I can do."

Disappointed, Jenner replied, "Really just use your orb chain thingy or whatever it is on your neck, you are so useless without me."

Remembering, Zain felt foolish. "Right then move back."

"Radnack fire head split orb light," he yelled, the door broke into pieces with all the royal palace shaking.

"Dummy, look at what you have done," Jenner scolded.

"You told me to do it," Zain replied.

"Yah right whatever," she answered as she pulls him by the hands. "Quickly, let's go before the guards get us."

As they ran, Zain couldn't help but feel a mix of fear and excitement. "We are going to get into a lot of trouble for this," he said.

"I know but that's why we are a team," Jenner replied, laughing.

Out of the way, Gomora! Zain pushed the first centurion guard away. "Don't make it harder than it is. Zain, go back to your training room and avoid punishments," the guard ordered.

"Well, there is no fun in that," Zain scoffed.

The next guard attacked Jenner, but she swiftly overpowered him with her ice Adonis. "Good one Jenner. U ready to fly?" Zain asked.

"Never thought you would ask," she giggled.

"Phoenix fire," Zain called out, summoning his fire wings. He held Jenner and they flew out of the palace.

"Did they escape?" Zuma asked with rage and disappointment.

"Yes, Lord, they knew where to go and all the shortcuts," the guard replied.

"Right then, look for them and bring my son home," Zuma ordered. "He would be punished for going against the orders of the supreme leader."

"Show mercy to your son," Zipporah interjected.

"Not now, sister," Zuma replied, looking away.

"But he is just a kid. Let him enjoy his last year before being an adult and possibly his last days of his life in peace," Zipporah pleaded.

Don't say that. He is going to be great, I know this with faith in his eyes," he insisted.

Haha, Yahweh destroyed Ohlms sovereign supreme being, destroyed planets and is heading here and you think your little fleet of Ozan soldiers would destroy the host of heavens? Oh please," she hissed, walking closer. With a gentle voice she continued, there is nowhere else to go and hiding it from the people could only help but a while", attempting to mock Zuma.

I have a plan," Zuma said in haste.

What's your plan?" Zipporah asked eagerly.

There is always a way even if there is no way," Zuma replied with a smile knowing fully well he couldn't trust her.

Would you attend the carnival?" Zipporah asked.

Not really, I can't be seen everywhere and I have a war to prepare for," Zuma declined.
