Centuries ago, humans lived amongst the werewolves in Endore where they mated and bore halflings. These halflings filled the city and were given most of the positions of leadership due to their population. The werewolves got weary of being under these halflings. And so, for generations, they fought silently for power. The halflings were considered weak after a human killed one of their kind during a siege. The werewolf found them and the humans as a pollutant to the land. Unknown to the humans and halflings, some alphas came together and formed a group called the Glias. They carved a red circle on their skins as a symbol of the red moon.
Rumors about the existence of these groups got to the rulers, but as usual, they did nothing. These alphas met in secret places and waited until it was the blood moon before launching an attack on them. On the night of the blood moon, the humans were wiped out except those who pledged their legacy to the werewolves and decided to work for them as slaves. The Glais became famous for overthrowing their long-time nemesis giving the werewolves the land. They formed the Werewolf Council and built an edifice Called the Werewolf Council Chamber. The Lycan King, Aldros and his mate, the Luna queen Samantha ruled. But they were without child for centuries. The members of Glia got impatient as they needed an heir. So, the leader, Ruthos planned on taking them out to make himself King. By this time, Samantha had just borne a son but it was already too late. Aldros got the news minutes before the attack was launched and so he managed to send his son, Gaurand, away before he and his wife were killed.
Ruthos ruled mercilessly and subjected the people to a life of suffering bringing forth ruthless offspring. Ruthos's descendants spread wide across the land.
Gaurand returned and killed him, his death terrified the members of Glia and they went into hiding again but their quest for bloodshed did not stop. They killed those who stood in their way for centuries until it was thought that they had been completely wiped out. But neither humans nor the halflings returned to Endore. To keep the peace that was in the land, they resulted into following the prophecy for guidance.
