Clifford casually ignored them and continued his cultivation. His actions came across as disrespectful, angering the three cultivators.
"Intruders, you are not enough to take me down. Go bring some more. Maybe you'll be able to get rid of me then, if you listen to me, of course," Clifford said, glancing at the newcomers before closing his eyes again.
"More? We are quite enough to take care of a fifth-tier beast like you," one of them replied confidently, having heard about Clifford from the guards who escaped. He treated Clifford as a beast with an ability to take a human form.
