Third person POV
Later after that, while Kashi was still recovering, Tashio sat next to him to talk to him. "Hey, dad…" Kashi asked him while looking down at the dirty floor, "…are you sure that you won't hurt me again?"
"Yes, my mind is now intact again," replied his father back. "That means I had remembered how to think and act once again, like how humans do."
Kashi was relieved to hear that.
But then, the atmosphere changed when Tashio told Kashi that someone who was responsible for turning him into a zombie was the one who made him to kill, expressing his desire for revenge against that person. That person was Gen himself. Kashi was shocked and surprised to hear that. "What? Why blame someone for that?"
"Because…" replied his father back, "…that guy ruined my life and everything. So, he must pay for it."
His father then stood up and walked over to his weapon and removed its magazine to check for any ammunition, before putting it back. "Once you have recovered, we'll move out and survive this zombie outbreak. We must stay vigilant."
Kashi then nodded silently, but his mind didn't agree with Tashio's desire for vengeance against Gen.
