Synopsis
The last thing she can remember is her life support beginning to fail. Darkness envelops her, and she loses consciousness. Her body had suffered terribly because of her family's deeds and the only freedom left in her life came from the VR game War in Neverland.  When she wakes up, she finds herself transported into the game world of Neverland, in the body of her personal avatar Seraphi, a high-level elf with immense power. She notices that the world of Neverland is different from what she remembers playing. As she comes to learn, four hundred years have passed since she last interacted with the world. The NPCs, once mere lines of code, now exhibit their own lives and personalities, making the world feel more alive and autonomous than ever before. But not only that to stay, she needs to pay a fee every month. This unexpected twist adds a layer of urgency to her quest for answers. Why was she transported here? What has happened in the two centuries she missed? And, most importantly, how can she secure her place in this world without the means to pay the fee?

WELCOME DEAR NEW PLAYERS!

Streams of sunlight penetrated the cream-colored curtains, casting a melancholic glow across the room. My eyes slowly opened themselves as my eyes adjusted, revealing the surroundings in a gradual clarity.

With a contented sigh, I savored the blissful sensation of a truly restful sleep, "Hmmm! First time in a while I slept this good."

The comfort of my bed cocooned me, I feel so comfortable in bed that I don't want to get up yet. I stretched my limbs while still laying on the bed. The symphony of joints and sinews culminated in a satisfying popping sound.

"Ah~, it feels good."

Gently, my fingers explored the folds of the crisp bedsheet in search of my phone. A flicker of unease fluttered in the depths of my mind as my searching hand connected with nothing. Leaving my heart to pound in sudden panic, like my soul left my body.

A quiet gasp escaped my lips as I quietly rose from the comforting embrace of the bed and threw the pillow at the other side of the room. It was empty, the pristine expanse of the pure white bed sheets stared back at me. Nothing was there.

A perplexed frown etched itself onto my face, as a swirl of thoughts raced through my mind. How so? I always put my phone beside my pillow!

A surge of panic gripped me as the frantic rhythm of my heartbeat echoed in my ears.

"My phone! My baby!"

I quietly looked around the room. A sense of disorientation washed over me, the realization sinking in that I am not in my room, well more precisely to say not in my hospital room.

Streams of sunlight penetrated the cream-colored curtains, casting a melancholic glow across the room adorned with aged stone and weathered wooden furniture. It looks like a motel or something.

Questions tumbled through my mind like leaves caught in a tempest, each one adding to the cacophony of confusion. Where was I? How did I get here? And most importantly, why?

Confused, I mumbled, "Where... am I?"

'Alright, calm down, Rosa. Compose yourself.' Taking a deep breath, I struggled to regain my composure, a mental mantra echoing through the corridors of my mind, searching for clues amidst the fog of uncertainty.

In an attempt to untangle the enigma, I retraced the contours of recent memory.

The pieces began to fall into place as I recalled the last fragments, 'Okay, last I remembered I was playing War in Neverland with my V.R set then I logged off ....' A nagging doubt gnawed at the edges of my mind, 'Wait what!? Did I fall asleep with my V.R on!? Or am I dreaming? A Lucid dream?'

In a desperate frenzy, I forcefully pulled at my own hair, the sharp pain serving as a cruel reminder of my mounting anguish. "Quch! Quch! It really hurts!" I cried out, my distress echoing off the walls of the room.

Drawing in a deep breath, a heavy sigh escaped my lips as I tightly clenched my hands together, 'so this isn't a dream? Wait, did I die!?'

The notion sent another surge of panic coursing through my veins. Feeling the weight of stress from what was happening. My frustration was palpable, as evidenced by the way I ground my teeth together in annoyance.

Collapsing onto the bed in a defeated heap, I unleashed a scream, the sound muffled by the soft embrace of the mattress. Tears streamed down my face as I succumbed to a cathartic release, my sobs intermingling with the fabric.

After what felt like an eternity but in reality 8 or 10 minutes of having a mental breakdown. With a heavy sigh, I mustered the strength to lift myself from the bed, wiping away the remnants of tears that stained my cheeks.

As I regained my composure, my eyes scanning the peaceful surroundings, a sense of calm washed over me and looked out the window. Leaning against the headboard, taking in the mesmerizing scenery. A gentle breeze fluttered through the window, carrying with it the tantalizing scent of lavender like flowers from a vase perched on the sill. The mid-morning sun bathed the room in a golden glow with the floral, herbal, and woodsy aroma of mother nature, imbuing the space with a sense of tranquility.

It feels weird to not wake up to the familiar white ceiling and wall, the cold tiles beneath my feet, and the rhythmic beeping of the life support machine that had become a constant companion during my time in the hospital. Even the sterile smell of sanitizer.

Lost in the labyrinth of my thoughts, I was jolted back to reality by a sharp knocking on the door.

I immediately got up from the embrace of the bed and hastened towards the wooden door.

I opened the door, revealing a young girl standing on the threshold around 14 years old. Her youthful face was etched with concern.

"Miss, are you okay?" she inquired, her voice tinged with genuine worry. "Very loud noises were coming from this room."

A flush of embarrassment colored my cheeks as I realized the disturbance I had caused with my emotional outburst. "Oh, no! Everything is okay," I reassured her, mustering a nervous smile.

"Okay. You missed breakfast. Do you want me to bring anything for you?"

"No need but thank you," I tried to politely decline and shut the door on her face. I know it's rude but I have too much on my plate and need to figure out what is going on.

In my haste to gather my thoughts and make sense of the chaos, I hurriedly made my way over to the discreetly positioned full-length mirror nestled in the corner of the room.

"Oh my god..." An exclamation involuntarily escaped my lips as I engaged in a scrutinizing confrontation with the reflection before me.

A cascade of silky, shoulder-length dark hair framed my face, drawing attention to the piercing intensity of my grayish blue eyes and the delicately pointed tips of my ears, prompting a stunned self-interrogation.

"Is that me? Holy shit why am I so pretty?" Overwhelmed by the realization of my own allure, I delicately traced the contours of my face, marveling at the velvety texture beneath my fingertips. The surreal beauty mirrored back at me seemed to blur the lines between reality, imagination, and dreams.

"Seraphi Nightshade…." suddenly I mumbled out, a sense of recognition washed over me. "Wait, it's my character in War in Neverland!"

Before I could fully process this realization, a sudden *Beep* sound pierced the air and a screen popped up before me, causing me to jump back in surprise.

"What the hell!?" I exclaimed, my voice trembling with a mix of shock and confusion. My heart raced as I stared at the unexpected sight before me— a black, flowing screen.

Taking a deep breath to steady myself, I cautiously approached the screen. I reached out and touched the screen, half expecting it to vanish into thin air. Instead, it responded with a subtle hum, as if acknowledging my presence. My mind raced with questions as my eyes scanned it's dark surface for any clues.

Whispering to myself, I muttered the words that unlocked a flood of awareness. "Seraphi... Level 1100... High Elf RACE... Title, SKILL MASTER... A Familiar Avatar... Even the menu I'm used to…This must mean it's…." It was a revelation that sent my heart racing with excitement, as I hurriedly made my way towards the window.

As my gaze extended beyond the confines of the room, my eyes widened with wonder as I saw people walking on the streets, going about their life. What's so exciting about that, you ask? Well because those people aren't the average humans you see in your everyday life. There Elves, beast men, demons and a plethora of other enchanting species mixed in the crowd you can only see in Fantasy.

"It's the…..world of Neverland!"
