At arrival at school Yuna blinked at the enormous building, she knew this school as one of the largest schools however seeing it up close
She was stunned
Oceana glanced at Yuna briefly before turning her attention to the students gathered together whispering between themselves.
It had been so long she had almost forgotten about this bullies
"It's quite huge with huge problems" Yuna glanced at the students lazily, the smile on her lips didn't reach her cold eyes which made the students step back
Their haughty eyes glared at Yuna fiercely as Yuna strode into the school with Oceana who had a cold look on her face
"She thinks she's untouchable now that she's with Cairo" some students whispered in disdain as they glared furiously at Oceana
What right did she have to be with Cairo?
Now glancing at Yuna who looked equally impoverished a dark glint crossed their eyes and they nodded in understanding as they then proceeded to block their paths
"What do you want?" Oceana asked coldly her eyes glinted with a surge of ruthlessness they had never seen before
Making them panic
"Oceana…." Xenir's voice came from the other end of the hallway and the students hurriedly dispersed in fear "prof…." Oceana frowned slightly, she obviously isn't want to run into Xenir this early.
It was clearly bad luck!
"Who's she…?" Xenir asked turning to Yuna who casually leaned on the wall lazily, her eyes darted around examining the interior on the school "Yuna" Oceana replied and Xenir smiled wildly, her eyes gleamed with interest
"Hi"Xenir smiled as she walked over to where Yuna stood a little distance away from Oceana "prof….." Romani called and Xenir tilted her eyes slightly her eyes filled with irritation for Romani's interruption "there's some documents that needs your attention plus Willy's coming over" Romani reported to Xenir she really wouldn't have bit the bullet if it wasn't important
However this was indeed of importance and couldn't be neglected
"Are you free now?...…..Can we see in my office?" Xenir asked as she glanced at Yuna before taking over the documents from Romani
She glanced at the contents briefly studying the little details that needed her attention
"I'm occupied with some projects and other commitments ,…. Yuna's new and she's free" Oceana pointed out and Xenir snickered
"Can she pass my test?" Xenir asked seriously, she had little interest in Yuna however she wasn't confident on Yuna's abilities
" A trail will suffice" Oceana assured her and Xenir chuckled as she then led them through the hallway to her office
Oceana sighed pulling Yuna to Xenir's office which was a large classroom doubled as an office and a classroom
Yuna glanced at the rows of neatly arranged scientific apparatus,, lol technological instruments and materials and the rows of different machines
The resources were unlimited and eye catching for Yuna
Oceana sighed in relief, seeing her focus her interest on something other than ammunition's and firearms
"Do you have an inkling what this are?" Xenir asked catching Yuna's interest in the equipments in her office, if Yuna was really interested she really wouldn't mind taking Yuna under her wing
"I've made a model robot once" Yuna replied as she studied the unfinished model robot on the large desk, her interest in it could be seen in her eyes, however she was more disciplined and would never give in to her intrusive thoughts
Hence she turned to face Oceana and Xenir "there are good things in here" Yuna stated the obvious, her eyes no longer held the sparkle and excitement but was instead incredibly calm
"You can have this whole classroom to yourself and your research, if you agree to be my student " Xenir proposed confidently
She was confident in her works, her teaching and reputation and all that together made her the best option for any student who was Willing to learn and better themselves
Too bad Oceana wasn't interested in learning as she had quite the potential as well as a photographic memory
Her eyes gleamed with emotions which one couldn't properly discern "okay" Yuna nodded in understanding
"the college's provost has been changed, new laws have been implemented, you don't have to worry about bullies" Xenir informed Oceana, her eyes stared warmly at both Oceana and Yuna "the Brandon's that's the main target" Romani sighed, unlike everyone else she felt genuine pity for Oceana "I'm here to protect her" Yuna yawned lazily but her eyes were cold and indifferent with a hint of ruthlessness
Xenir could tell at a glance that Yuna wasn't one to be underestimated and that made her even more excited
"I don't need you to protect me! Study hard and get good grades….. you've always wanted to study, this is your chance Whereas you earned this scholarship on your own" Oceana shrugged as she turned away to leave "she's a scholarship student" Romani gasped in shock
"Is it something to be proud of?" Yuna asked with a low chuckle "you're amongst the few to get a scholarship into this school in the past decade... of course it's something to be proud of " Romani replied and Xenir nodded
She didn't have any interest in the scholarship students however it was no secret that those who were able to pass the college's scholarship were rare geniuses in different fields
"I'll come often for now I have classes" with that Yuna prepared to leave with Oceana "what classes do you have?" Oceana's eyelids twitched as she watched Yuna walk over "you can bring your model tomorrow I've got a topic on debate... AI's are revolving and you must be interested in that" Xenir suddenly spoke and Yuna smiled
How could she not be interested in artificial intelligence
That a breakthrough in her research on robots
The higher the intelligence the better the robot would function
"I guess I'm under your care now Ms Xenir" Yuna turned to Xenir briefly "here's a test for you which should be submitted tomorrow" Xenir directled Romani to get the test paper which was handed over to Yuna
Staring at the questions both Oceana and Romani could feel their eyelids twitching
Could those questions be considered human?
However Yuna had a peculiar expression on her face
Was that interest?
Oceana thought to herself glancing at Xenir who had a wide smile on her face
Oceana was lucky she had brought Yuna over in her place
How in earth could Yuna be placed with such questions
How had she not gone brain dead?
Those were in fact beyond human understanding and comprehension
Romani's expression was no different from Oceana's
"I'll see you around" Yuna waved at Oceana before walking off to find her way around her classes
"Are u interested in joining the school's football team?" A group of students scurried over to Yuna happily, their eyes shone expectantly
"What can your football team offer? You should join our basket ball team!" Another group of students spoke up in contempt
"You should join the tennis team instead" another group rushed over with their team's banner "there's the volleyball team!" Another group rushed over arrogantly "you should join the basketball team" Cairo walked over to Oceana who stood some meters away from Yuna "she's already in the Tennis team" Nina snorted as she pulled Oceana away while Yuna walked over to the football team players to join them
