Sergeant Mainoo of Gundam District was out there in the field, actively keeping tabs of the military operation.
His officers spread everywhere in the slums, and he was at the heart of it.
The latest reports finally made him smile for the first time since this operation started.
"Routine report, the fugitives have finally been cornered at an isolated part of the slums".
"We have at least 25 police vans surrounding them in a square".
"There are no openings for them to escape".
"If they want to escape, they must force their way through us. And that is an impossible endeavor".
"The fugitives… are trapped".
The report was straightforward, but little did Sergeant Mainoo know that in the next few minutes, an unprecedented event that would shake the core foundations of his beliefs would happen.
