As soon as they landed inside the random dilapidated building, Andrew was stunned by what he saw inside here.
Inside this simple sitting room with no furniture whatsoever, Andrew saw mats spread everywhere with more than 15 people in total lying on them.
There seemed to be 3 families in total staying inside this simple sitting room.
Apart from the couples who looked worse for wear, what truly caught Andrew's attention was the sight of the children.
The eldest of them looked no older than 11.
Seeing them, the image reminded Andrew of an image that remained forever buried at the deepest and darkest parts of his heart, locked away.
This image reminded Andrew of himself back on earth.
These children all looked weak and emaciated. Some of them were so thin he could swear he could see their bones sticking out, they were clearly starving.
Andrew winced at the sight.
