GPS, also known as the Global Positioning System is a global navigation satellite system that provides location, velocity, and time synchronization.
It lets us know where we are and where we are going anywhere in the world.
GPS was not exclusive to Planet Earth.
In a world where there are mechs, the Global Positioning System was also a thing and it was one of the core technologies that was in active use by the army and police of the Vemido Kingdom.
For every single police officer in the kingdom, they had an active tracking system that notified their respective police station of their current position at any given point in time.
Accessing sensitive data like this in the police station was restricted by authorization, and authorization in the police was determined and granted according to a police officer's rank in the hierarchy.
