In reality time froze but in Andrew's reality, his consciousness disappeared into the simulated world of his system.
Appearing in this simulated world, for the first few seconds, Andrew's heart was still beating as fast as an engine even as he hyperventilated.
But seeing his stern-faced teacher by his side, he confirmed that this was not reality but the simulated world of his system.
He was finally able to calm down.
