It was the same for mages when it came to their magic talent.
Like with mech pilot's neural aptitude, magic talent for mages was categorized and graded from Grade A to E.
Grade A were the best of the best, geniuses who had the ability to effortlessly learn complicated spells related to their nature designed magic affinity.
D Grade Mages were the weakest mages, as for E Grade, they had the magic inside them but simply didn't have the ability to make use of it.
Their magic talent was too weak.
