Andrew left to the police station leaving his personal mech behind.
Despite the fact that a mech was literally a multi-million Vemido Kingdom credits luxury, he was not scared of theft. The mech had more than enough security mechanisms in place to protect it against petty theft.
Once Andrew got back to the police station, like Sergeant Theodore said, there was someone there already waiting for him, a policewoman.
"Hi, my name is Cassandra, the Sergeant said I should introduce you to your new unit".
"Unit?" Andrew was surprised. "Not partner?"
She looked at him and chuckled in slight puzzlement. "The Sergeant said that? It was likely just a slip of the tongue".
"But as a veteran, you should know more". She smiled.
Andrew scratched his hair. "Pardon me, since losing so many parts of my body, my brain has not been functioning at peak efficiency". He joked.
She kept on smiling. "Follow me".
