Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Uchiha’s Psychiatrist!!

The Third Ninja War, on the Border of the Land of Fire.

Fifty elite shinobi from Iwagakure, led by the famous ninja Higashi Shibito, successfully encircled the border defense forces of Konoha Village.

An earlier intelligence error left Konoha's defense forces vulnerable, resulting in catastrophic losses. All elite Jonin were killed, most Chunin suffered severe casualties, and the hundred-strong defense force was nearly decimated.

As a large number of Iwa ninjas approached the last Konoha stronghold, Higashi Shibito, despite his team's confidence in their impending victory, maintained a cautious advance, using a barrage of explosive tags to clear the way, destroying traps and obstacles.

His methodical approach spread fear among the remaining Konoha Chunin, leaving them with no opportunity for retaliation.

As a suffocating atmosphere of despair settled over the dozen or so survivors, they could only exchange desperate glances.

It was as if death had a tight grip on their throats, leaving them gasping for hope.

"Damn it!" Mimura Hazaki's eyes were bloodshot as he gritted his teeth. He cursed vehemently, "If those ANBU idiots hadn't provided such bad intel, we wouldn't have fallen into Iwa's trap."

"It's over. We're done for." Nagasaki Junji's eyes stared blankly as he let his kunai slip from his fingers. He replied bitterly, "There's no point in blaming ANBU now, Mimura. It's all futile."

Konoha's elite defense force of nearly a hundred shinobi had been virtually obliterated. Even a village as strong as Konoha couldn't withstand such a severe blow, especially while already engaged in war against three major ninja villages.

Mimura Hazaki blamed himself, closing his eyes in despair. "It's my fault. I failed the Fourth Hokage's trust."

He could already envision the horror of Iwa's forces breaching Konoha, the village engulfed in the flames of war, its streets running red with blood.

"Kill them all, and then level Konoha!" Higashi Shibito commanded, as hundreds of kunai flew through the air, raining down on the remaining Konoha defenders.

Mimura Hazaki and the others closed their eyes in despair, bracing for the end.

Boom!

Suddenly, a figure appeared on the battlefield. An enormous explosion erupted, sending clouds of dust into the air as the force of the blast deflected the incoming kunai, scattering them into the sky.

From the swirling smoke and debris, Higashi Shibito felt an intense pressure, a sense of foreboding as he cried out, "Who's there?!"

"A mere Iwa shinobi dares to invade Konoha's borders while I'm away?"

In the swirling smoke and dust, a deep and commanding voice pierced through the chaos.

"This voice..." Higashi's eyes narrowed to slits, and his pupils contracted to sharp points as fear gripped him. He had a sudden, chilling suspicion about who the newcomer might be. "No way!"

Mimura Hazaki, who had also heard the voice, turned his gaze toward the shadowy silhouette emerging from the smoke. His eyes were filled with awe and reverence.

The man was dressed in an elegant robe adorned with fiery patterns, his long black hair flowing freely in the wind. But the most striking feature was the emblem on his back—a red and white fan.

"Uchiha Fugaku!"

As the smoke cleared, Higashi's heart skipped a beat, and his face went pale. His voice quivered as he spoke, "Why would the Fourth Hokage of Konoha be here?!"

"I'm sorry, Fourth Hokage." Mimura Hazaki tried to offer an explanation.

"There's no need for apologies," said Uchiha Fugaku, his expression grave, the three tomoe in his eyes spinning and merging into a single powerful shape.

"Leave everything to me."

Higashi Shibito snapped out of his shock and shouted with desperation, "Retreat! Everyone, get out of here, now!"

"It's too late," Uchiha Fugaku replied coldly, his voice like steel. He clenched his fist, channeling an immense surge of chakra. "Those who harm Konoha will be dealt with, no matter how far they run!"

Chakra poured out of him like a raging storm, causing the earth beneath him to crack and split like a spider web under the immense pressure.

The power of his Mangekyō Sharingan reached its peak, and Uchiha Fugaku shouted with icy resolve, "Amaterasu!"

Boom!

Black flames erupted across the battlefield like a tidal wave from a tempestuous sea, engulfing everything within a few hundred meters.

"Iwa ninja, remember my name—Uchiha Fugaku!"

Uchiha Fugaku stood on the battlefield, a proud smile forming at the corners of his lips. His voice echoed across the field, loud and confident, "As long as I'm here, you'll never defeat Konoha!"

"Long live the Fourth Hokage!" The crowd chanted.

"Long live the Fourth Hokage!"

Fugaku basked in the cheers, his excitement growing. In that moment, he felt like he had surpassed all his ancestors and become the greatest leader in the history of the Uchiha clan, even the greatest Hokage in the history of Konoha Village.

"Thank you for your patronage, fifty thousand ryo."

A sudden voice snapped Fugaku back to reality. His eyes opened, a bit confused, but he quickly regained focus as he looked at the young man standing in front of him.

The young man appeared to be about fifteen years old, with hair as dark as night, well-defined features, and thick-rimmed glasses. Despite his gentle demeanor, his eyes drew attention—each one bore three magatama, rotating slowly, exuding an irresistible allure.

"That's it?" Fugaku's smile faded as he stared at the young man with a puzzled expression. "That's all? What happens next? What's the rest of it?"

"No more, Mr. Clan Leader," replied Uchiha Sogetsu, shrugging nonchalantly. He raised his hands and stood up with a friendly smile. "Fifty thousand ryo only gets you the trial version. If you want the full treatment, it'll cost extra."

"How much?"

Fugaku was visibly confused—the dream he'd just experienced had been incredibly tempting.

"One hundred thousand ryo per session," Uchiha Sogetsu replied with a grin, spreading out his fingers to emphasize the number.

"Hiss—so expensive!" Fugaku exclaimed, sharply inhaling. Even though he was the head of the Uchiha clan, with a strong reputation, he knew all too well that his beloved wife could be quite fierce at home.

The modest stash of money he'd managed to squirrel away could only afford four or five sessions at most. The thought made him wince. That was his private money which had taken him ages to save!

"Forget it. Maybe another time." Fugaku forced himself to let it go, closing his eyes with a hint of regret.

The vision of being the Fourth Hokage was such a sweet dream, even if it was just an illusion. It made you want to stay in it a little longer, to experience it just a few more times.

It's no wonder so many people kept visiting Uchiha Sogetsu to experience his unique brand of 'psychotherapy.' It was like nothing else, offering insights that lingered long after the sessions ended.

But Uchiha Fugaku was the clan leader. He quickly regained his composure, took a deep breath, and looked at the young man in front of him. "I have something to discuss with you," he said, his voice steady but direct.

"Please go ahead, Clan Leader," Uchiha Sogetsu replied with a gentle smile, the magatama in his eyes fading.

"Hokage-sama has expressed interest in having you join ANBU," Fugaku explained. He paused briefly before continuing, "Of course, if you'd rather not join ANBU, you could also consider the Uchiha Police Force."

"Thank you, but there's no need, Clan Leader," Sogetsu said after a moment's thought, shaking his head. "Besides, if I refuse Hokage-sama, it might make things more difficult for us, don't you think?"

"Understood. I'll inform Hokage-sama of your decision," Fugaku replied, nodding slightly. Before leaving, he offered a final piece of advice. "Sogetsu, no matter where you go, don't forget that you're always a member of the Uchiha clan."

As Fugaku left, Uchiha Sogetsu stared off into the distance. No one else could see it, but he could—faint lines of text floating in the air, visible only to him.
