"So, you're defending him now instead of me, your own brother? I should've just eliminated him at the start." he shot back, his tone sharp and accusing.
I sighed deeply, knowing there was no point in arguing with Chastian when he was like this. He's practically a younger version of my dad—stubborn and immovable.
Trying to reason with him was like talking to a brick wall because he wouldn't listen to anything, especially when it came to someone he disliked.
