"Chadzilla? Who's that?" Edith asked.
"Uh, he's just some random lizard guy we met earlier." Chronos replied with a casual shrug.
Chastine immediately shot him a glare, her eyes narrowing. "You feel bad for him, but you're calling him a lizard? What's wrong with you?"
"I do feel bad for him, but his name is just too funny to ignore," Chronos said with a chuckle, a rare sound that surprised even himself. "Who the heck even gave him that name? They didn't even do him justice."
Both Quinn and Edith were momentarily stunned. It was the first time they had seen Chronos joke around—a side of him that felt so different from his usual cold and composed demeanor. Seeing him laugh so freely was almost surreal.
"My grandma."
"Huh?" Chronos blinked, momentarily thrown off by her response.
"You asked who named him. I said, my grandma."
"Your grandma?" Chronos asked, his brows knitting together as unease settled in his chest.
