"Is it just me, or does the classroom feel quieter than usual?"
Levi asked Rune while glancing at the empty seats of Chastine and her group in potion making.
The classroom was unusually calm and relaxed compared to when Chastine was around. Most of their classmates were intimidated by her presence, which often created a tense atmosphere.
Chastine had an unusual aura that made their classmates act warily, which was quite different from how it felt now.
"Yeah, it seems like those five are already out searching for herbs and ingredients… I'm jealous." Rune replied, pouting.
"How about us? When are we going to start, Chronos?" Rune asked Chronos, who had been silent and appeared lost in thought.
"Hey, Chronos..." Rune called again, but Chronos remained oblivious, staring distantly with a furrowed brow.
Levi leaned closer to Rune and whispered, "You don't think he's spaced out because Chastine isn't here, do you?"
