After the exhausting events of yesterday, news spread like wildfire. Even though the official announcement for the opening ceremony hadn't been posted yet, the upperclassmen, who were the most excited about it had already spread the word.
It didn't take long before we learned that many first-years were feeling anxious, while others were angry, especially those who had been rejected from Lord Ecarus' club.
With everything that had happened, it wasn't just the freshmen and second-years who were upset with us, even some upperclassmen were annoyed because of the attention we were getting from several of the top 10 students.

My attention shifted toward the door of my room as someone knocked. The knocking continued a few more times.
