Ms. Minchin adjusted her thick eyeglasses before her expression suddenly shifted, transforming from the clumsy look from earlier to a cold, serious one.
Standing up straighter, she smoothed out her clothes, instantly changing the mood in the room.
The chatter faded as the students' curious glances turned into attentive, almost wary stares. She now exuded an air of authority that demanded respect.
"I'm your Elemental Class professor, so expect that we will have mock battles, practice sessions, and training to improve your elemental abilities." she began, her voice firm and commanding.
"Before we get started, I'd like to know more about each of you. This is my first time teaching the special class, and I've heard impressive things about this year's first-year students. I'm looking forward to seeing if that's true."
