"I d-didn't expect to see you here, Senior Ethanos." said the woman wearing glasses who had given me attitude earlier.
"Why? Am I not allowed to attend the meeting?"
"T-that's not what I mean. You can attend the meeting anytime you want... but today, I just didn't expect to see you here."
"Then don't mind me and just continue the meeting. I came here because I'm curious to see what this meeting is all about, just this once."
With those words from Ethanos, I couldn't help but feel unsettled because it was the complete opposite of how he usually is when we're around him.
He's always smiling or grinning, but this time his entire demeanor was serious, causing a brief silence in the room.
Ethanos just kept walking straight ahead, glancing around repeatedly before his eyes finally settled on me.
He smiled and headed in my direction.
