"Congrats."
I turned to look at Chronos when he suddenly spoke.
"Yeah, congrats to you too."
He stared at me for a moment, his eyes intense, as if there was something more he wanted to say.
His lips parted slightly, but after a few seconds of silence, he seemed to think better of it. Without another word, he turned and walked away, his figure disappearing into the crowd of students.
What's his problem?....
As the gymnasium began to empty, I stood there for a moment, unsure of where to go next. Everyone seemed to have a place to go, while I felt momentarily lost.
Figuring it was best to head back to the dorm, I started walking. The dorms had already been assigned before the entrance exam even started, so I knew exactly where to go.
After a few minutes of walking, just as I reached the gate of the girls' dormitory, I felt someone suddenly grab my wrist. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to see who it was.
