He froze for a moment, his cheeks slightly reddening as he backed away a little.
"H-hey, your face is too close..." he stammered.
I pulled back, giving him some space.
"Ehem, w-what else do you want to ask?" he said, squeezing his cheeks as if trying to force himself to focus and be serious.
"About the system... I still don't fully understand how it works here because, in the Wood Clan, we do have something similar, but the university's system is much more advanced..."
"You mean you're curious about what the system is for?" he asked.
I nodded. My knowledge of how things worked at the university was limited. I arrived here practically clueless, and if the Wood Clan hadn't used even some basic technology, I would've been completely lost.
Ethanos gestured for me to sit beside him again, so I sat back down.
