Paula flipped through a stack of documents while she sat at her desk.
The door creaked open, and Martha walked in with a bouquet of fresh flowers in hand. Barbie came after her, and she practically glowed with pride.
They had been supporting her ever since she made the decision of being a CEO. With their assistance, it was manageable even though it has not been easy.
Paula gave them a warm smile as she looked up, appreciating their company in this time of change.
Barbie smiled and said, "Congratulations again, Madam CEO," setting the bouquet on the desk. "I still can't believe it. You've worked so hard for this."
"Thanks, Barbie," Paula said, standing to give her a quick hug. "It has been a journey, for sure."
With a gentle smile and a trace of worry in her eyes, Martha put her hand on Paula's shoulder. "It's incredible what you've accomplished, Paula. But… are you really sure you can handle both being a CEO and continuing as a top model?"
