Lily stormed into Marissa's office, her heels clicking sharply on the floor as she approached the desk. She didn't bother with pleasantries, her tone dripping with spite as she demanded, "Is this company now accepting goats and dogs as models?"
Marissa looked up from her paperwork, her expression hardening. "Lily, watch your words. You're crossing the line."
Lily scoffed, crossing her arms. "Am I? You're letting that nobody waltz in here like she owns the place. It's disgraceful."
Marissa took a deep breath, keeping her composure. "Paula has potential, and as CEO, it's my job to nurture talent. But this isn't about her, Lily. Your behavior lately has been raising eyebrows. People are already talking."
Lily narrowed her eyes, unbothered. "Let them talk. I've earned my place here, and I don't need to justify myself to anyone. Especially not to someone like her."
